The European Space Agency (ESA; French: Agence spatiale européenne pronunciation , ASE; German: Europäische Weltraumorganisation) is an intergovernmental organisation of 22 member states dedicated to the exploration of space. Established in 1975 and headquartered in Paris, ESA has a worldwide staff of about 2,200 in 2018 and an annual budget of about €7.2 billion in 2022.ESA's space flight programme includes human spaceflight (mainly through participation in the International Space Station program); the launch and operation of unmanned exploration missions to other planets and the Moon; Earth observation, science and telecommunication; designing launch vehicles; and maintaining a major spaceport, the Guiana Space Centre at Kourou, French Guiana. The main European launch vehicle Ariane 5 is operated through Arianespace with ESA sharing in the costs of launching and further developing this launch vehicle. The agency is also working with NASA to manufacture the Orion spacecraft service module that will fly on the Space Launch System.

The Synagogue of Chasseloup-Laubat is a Jewish synagogue located at 14 Rue Chasseloup-Laubat in Paris' 15th arrondissement. The synagogue is associated with the Israelite Central Consistory of France. It is one of the last synagogues built according to designs developed during the 19th century in France, an era which saw the Emancipation of Jews and their greater integration into society. It is considered part of the "Golden Age of French Synagogues".

Between 1958 and the outbreak of the Libyan civil war in 2011, there were twelve ambassadors appointed by the Libyan government to serve in France. Subsequent postholders have represented the National Transitional Council.

The Symbolic Globe is a monument, since November 1995 situated on the piazza of UNESCO in Paris, France, surrounded by the flags of all nations, pointing out that this is the headquarters of the international organization. The Symbolic Globe was originally conceived for the United Nations Summit on Social Development, March 1995.[1] During the Summit, it was built in the centre of Copenhagen by the delegates, who had come from every corner of the earth. Transferred to the piazza of UNESCO in Paris, the Symbolic Globe was inaugurated on 7 November 1995 by Federico Mayor.

UNESCO Headquarters, or Maison de l'UNESCO, is a building inaugurated on 3 November 1958 at number 7 Place de Fontenoy in Paris, France, to serve as the headquarters for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It is a building that can be visited freely.

Grenelle (French pronunciation: ​[ɡʁənɛl]) is a neighbourhood in southwestern Paris, France. It is a part of the 15th arrondissement of the city. There is currently a Boulevard de Grenelle which runs along the North delimitation of the quartier, and a Rue de Grenelle, a few kilometers North-East in the 7th arrondissement.

Ségur (French pronunciation: ​[seɡyʁ]) is a station on Line 10 of the Paris Métro. It is located on the border of the 7th arrondissement and 15th arrondissement.

The International Council of Museums (ICOM) is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to museums, maintaining formal relations with UNESCO and having a consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. Founded in 1946, ICOM also partners with entities such as the World Intellectual Property Organization, Interpol, and the World Customs Organization in order to carry out its international public service missions, which include fighting illicit traffic in cultural goods and promoting risk management and emergency preparedness to protect world cultural heritage in the event of natural or man-made disasters. Founded 1975, the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) is an international alliance working to promote eye health. It has over 150 members, mainly NGOs and civil society, corporate organisations, professional bodies and research institutions who are working in the prevention of blindness. This agency is a partner of World Health Organization.

Champ de Mars (French pronunciation: ​[/ʃɑ̃ d(ə) maʁs/]) is a ghost station along line 8 of the Paris Métro, between the stations la Motte-Picquet - Grenelle and École Militaire. It is situated in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, to the southwest of the public garden called Champ de Mars.

The Place de Fontenoy (French pronunciation: ​[plas də fɔ̃tənwa]) is a square in Paris, France, named after the victory of Maréchal Maurice de Saxe in the Battle of Fontenoy. At number 7, Place de Fontenoy are the UNESCO Headquarters, the World Heritage Centre.The purpose of this building is currently to serve as a basic headquarters of the UNESCO group.
