Southbury is a London Overground station on the Southbury Loop section of the Lea Valley lines, located on the easterly side of Enfield in north London. It is 10 miles 32 chains (16.7 km) down the line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Edmonton Green and Turkey Street. The station is in Travelcard Zone 5.

Bishop Stopford's School, commonly known as Bishop Stopford's, or (simply) just Bishop's, is a voluntary aided co-educational secondary school specialising in mathematics, computing and engineering, with a sixth form. Ponders End is the southeasternmost part of Enfield, north London, centred on the Hertford Road. Situated to the west of the River Lee Navigation, it became industrialised through the 19th century, similar to the Lea Valley in neighbouring Edmonton and Brimsdown, with manufacturing giving way to warehousing in the late-20th century. The area consists heavily of social housing, with streets also lined with 19th and early-20th century suburban terraced housing. As a result of increased levels of immigration, the area has become the most ethnically diverse part of Enfield, with the majority of the population now belonging to an ethnic minority background as first recorded in the 2011 census. The area is undergoing large-scale regeneration, with the high-rise Alma Road Estate currently undergoing demolition and redevelopment by Countryside Properties. The population of Ponders End was 15,664 as of 2011.

Edmonton is one of six hundreds (obsolete subdivisions) of the historic county of Middlesex, England. A rotated L-shape, its area has been in the south and east firmly part of the urban growth of London. Since the 1965 formation of London boroughs (see Greater London) it mainly corresponds to the London Boroughs of Enfield, a negligible portion of Barnet and a narrow majority of Haringey. Its ancient parish of South Mimms (including the later civil parish of Potters Bar) has since 1965 been part of the Hertsmere district in Hertfordshire.

Kingsmead School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Enfield, north London, England. The school converted to academy status in October 2010, and was previously a community school under the direct control of Enfield London Borough Council. The 2017 results were in the highest possible category of ‘Well Above Average’ at A Level (top 4% nationally) and ‘Above Average’ at GCSE (top 18% nationally).Kingsmead had a poor reputation until the early 2000s, when it began to rapidly improve. It has consistently produced above national average outcomes for students over a number of years.In 2006, Kingsmead became a specialist arts college in the visual and performing arts.In 2007, Kingsmead School was the first school in Enfield to be rated 'outstanding' in all categories assessed by Ofsted after a new rating system was introduced. In 2008, students from the school appeared in the Sky1 television series Hairspray: The School Musical. Giles Bird, a former headteacher, was also awarded a CBE for services to education carried out on behalf of the organisation ASCL.In 2012, the Lord Hill of Oareford, Leader of the House of Lords visited the school, stating he was impressed with the "vibrant teaching and learning environment". Later, Nick de Bois also visited the school after it became one of the first schools in the United Kingdom to achieve academy status.In 2013 and 2016 the school received the overall rating of 'Good' Ofsted inspections under new inspection frameworks.In 2018 81% of GCSE students were entered for the Ebacc subjects, when the government target is for 75% of students to be entered by 2022.Since September 2017 the school has had a new Headteacher, David Medway.

Carterhatch Lane Halt was a railway station built by the Great Eastern Railway in 1916 on the Southbury Loop line to the north east of London in the United Kingdom. The Southbury Loop line was reopened in 1915 for passenger services for munitions workers to access factories in the Lea Valley area however the line closed in 1919.

The Queen Elizabeth II Stadium is a multi-use sports venue in Enfield, London. Built initially as a venue for athletics, in 2011 a three-year refurbishment was completed to allow the stadium to be used for football. The Stadium is a Grade II Listed Building.
