The London Borough of Enfield (pronunciation ) is a London borough in North London. It borders the London boroughs of Barnet to the west, Haringey to the south, and Waltham Forest to the southeast. To the north are the districts of Hertsmere, Welwyn Hatfield and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire), and to the east is Epping Forest District in Essex. The local authority is Enfield London Borough Council. Enfield's population is estimated to be 333,794; the main towns in the borough are Edmonton, Enfield, Southgate and Palmers Green. Enfield is the northernmost London borough.

Kingsmead School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Enfield, north London, England. The school converted to academy status in October 2010, and was previously a community school under the direct control of Enfield London Borough Council. The 2017 results were in the highest possible category of ‘Well Above Average’ at A Level (top 4% nationally) and ‘Above Average’ at GCSE (top 18% nationally).Kingsmead had a poor reputation until the early 2000s, when it began to rapidly improve. It has consistently produced above national average outcomes for students over a number of years.In 2006, Kingsmead became a specialist arts college in the visual and performing arts.In 2007, Kingsmead School was the first school in Enfield to be rated 'outstanding' in all categories assessed by Ofsted after a new rating system was introduced. In 2008, students from the school appeared in the Sky1 television series Hairspray: The School Musical. Giles Bird, a former headteacher, was also awarded a CBE for services to education carried out on behalf of the organisation ASCL.In 2012, the Lord Hill of Oareford, Leader of the House of Lords visited the school, stating he was impressed with the "vibrant teaching and learning environment". Later, Nick de Bois also visited the school after it became one of the first schools in the United Kingdom to achieve academy status.In 2013 and 2016 the school received the overall rating of 'Good' Ofsted inspections under new inspection frameworks.In 2018 81% of GCSE students were entered for the Ebacc subjects, when the government target is for 75% of students to be entered by 2022.Since September 2017 the school has had a new Headteacher, David Medway.

Its three-letter station code is BHK and it is in Travelcard zone 5. In 2015 the line and Bush Hill Park transferred from Abellio Greater Anglia operation to become part of the London Overground network, and it was added to the Tube map.

Bush Hill Park is an area of Enfield, located to the south-east of Enfield Town, on the outskirts of north London, in the historic county of Middlesex. Much of the district is a planned suburban estate, developed mainly in the late-19th and early-20th centuries, and designated a conservation area in 1986.

Ponders End is the southeasternmost part of Enfield, north London, centred on the Hertford Road. Situated to the west of the River Lee Navigation, it became industrialised through the 19th century, similar to the Lea Valley in neighbouring Edmonton and Brimsdown, with manufacturing giving way to warehousing in the late-20th century. The area consists heavily of social housing, with streets also lined with 19th and early-20th century suburban terraced housing. As a result of increased levels of immigration, the area has become the most ethnically diverse part of Enfield, with the majority of the population now belonging to an ethnic minority background as first recorded in the 2011 census. The area is undergoing large-scale regeneration, with the high-rise Alma Road Estate currently undergoing demolition and redevelopment by Countryside Properties. The population of Ponders End was 15,664 as of 2011.
