The Veritas School, also known simply as Veritas, was a private Christian school in Ridgeland, Mississippi (United States). Located on the Madison/Ridgeland line in the Jackson metro area, The Veritas School was a 6th – 12th grade Christian school. The school's stated mission was to equip the next generation of Christian leaders to think and live biblically. The Veritas School is not affiliated with any individual church or denomination. The Veritas School closed in 2015.

Montgomery House in Madison, Mississippi is a picturesque one-story Gothic Revival house that was built in c. 1852. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.Its design is attributed to British-born architect Frank Wills, who is known for his designs of Gothic Revival churches. Wills designed the Chapel of the Cross in Madison which was built during 1850–52.

This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation airport.Although many U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned MBO by the FAA, and DXE from IATA (which assigned MBO to Mamburao Airport in the Philippines).

Annandale Plantation was a cotton plantation worked by enslaved laborers in what is now the Mannsdale neighborhood of Madison, Mississippi. Its Italianate-style plantation house was designed and built for Margaret Louisa Thompson Johnstone, the wealthy widow of John T. Johnstone. Completed during the late 1850s, it was destroyed in a fire during the mid-1920s. A replacement, part of a modern residential development, was later built at the site during the mid-20th century.Before the new mansion was built, Mrs. Johnstone commissioned what is known as the Chapel of the Cross, in memory of her late husband. This Gothic Revival-style structure was completed in 1852 on the plantation property. Johnstone deeded it and 10 acres to the Episcopal Diocese. The chapel was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

It is noted for its Gothic Revival architecture, which draws heavily from 14th-century English country churches. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
