Madison-Ridgeland Academy (MRA, Madison-Ridgeland) is a private, co-educational school in Madison, Mississippi, for students from K-3 through 12th grade. It was founded in 1969 as a segregation academy. There are 4 divisions; the Kindergarten (K3-K5), the Elementary (1st–5th grade), the Middle School (6th–8th grade), and the High School (9th–12th).

Strawberry Patch Park is a 7-acre (28,000 m2) city park in Madison, Mississippi. It contains a one-mile (1.6 km) running path, a pond used for fishing by children, ducks, geese, and a playground. Montgomery House in Madison, Mississippi is a picturesque one-story Gothic Revival house that was built in c. 1852. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.Its design is attributed to British-born architect Frank Wills, who is known for his designs of Gothic Revival churches. Wills designed the Chapel of the Cross in Madison which was built during 1850–52.

The Veritas School, also known simply as Veritas, was a private Christian school in Ridgeland, Mississippi (United States). Located on the Madison/Ridgeland line in the Jackson metro area, The Veritas School was a 6th – 12th grade Christian school. The school's stated mission was to equip the next generation of Christian leaders to think and live biblically. The Veritas School is not affiliated with any individual church or denomination. The Veritas School closed in 2015.

St. Andrew's Episcopal School is an independent, coeducational, preparatory day school in Ridgeland, Mississippi serving more than 1,100 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Founded in 1947, the school occupies two campuses: the South Campus houses the Lower School (pre-kindergarten through grade 4) in Jackson, and the North Campus houses the Middle School (grades 5-8) and Upper School (grades 9-12) in Ridgeland. The School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), belongs to the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES), and is affiliated with the Mississippi High School Activities Association. The School also holds ties with St. Andrew's Episcopal Cathedral in Jackson. St. Andrew’s is the only school in Mississippi and one of only 50 schools nationwide to receive a $2 million Malone Family Foundation grant to create scholarships for academically gifted students with financial need.
