KXL-FM

KATU (channel 2) is a television station in Portland, Oregon, United States, affiliated with ABC. It is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group alongside La Grande–licensed Univision affiliate KUNP (channel 16). Both stations share studios on NE Sandy Boulevard in Portland, while KATU's transmitter is located in the Sylvan-Highlands section of the city. KATU went on the air as the fourth commercial station in Portland in 1962. It was built and signed on by Fisher Broadcasting Company, later Fisher Communications, and originally served as an independent station before joining ABC in 1964. The station expanded its local programming in the early 1970s and became a contender in Portland-area local news ratings. Fisher continued to own KATU until the entire company was sold to Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2013.

KLTH (106.7 MHz "The Eagle") is a commercial FM radio station, licensed to Lake Oswego, Oregon, and serving the Portland metropolitan area. It is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc., and airs a classic hits radio format. Specialty programs on KLTH include Casey Kasem's "American Top 40: The 70s" on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Sundays also feature Yacht Rock". KLTH's studios and offices are located on SW 68th Parkway in Tigard, Oregon. The transmitter is located on SW Barnes Road in the Tualatin Mountains. KLTH covers much of Northwestern Oregon and Southwestern Washington.

KBVM (88.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Catholic Christian radio format. Licensed to Portland, Oregon, United States, the station serves the Portland, Oregon area. The station is currently owned by Catholic Broadcasting Northwest. The call letters are a reference to Mary, mother of Jesus's title the Blessed Virgin Mary, under whose patronage the station was placed at its dedication. On-air programming is simulcast in Eugene/Springfield on KMME, 100.5 FM and via an online stream.

KUPL (98.7 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station in Portland, Oregon. The station is owned by Alpha Media and airs a country music radio format, known as "98.7 The Bull." KUPL's studios and offices are located in Downtown Portland on SW 5th Avenue. The transmitter is in Portland's West Hills, on SW Barnes Road.

KINK (101.9 FM) is a commercial radio station in Portland, Oregon. It is owned by Connoisseur Media and it airs an adult album alternative radio format. KINK's studios and offices are on Southwest 5th Avenue in the PacWest Center. The signal is heard over much of Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington. The transmitter is located off Southwest Barnes Road in the West Hills. Although KINK's format has evolved over the years, its sound, philosophy, target audience, marketing, and community involvement have remained fundamentally consistent over its 50+ year history, a rarity in commercial broadcasting. Many of KINK's DJs have been associated with the station for decades. In the vernacular of commercial radio, KINK is known as a "heritage" radio station.

KUFO (970 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Portland, Oregon. The station, owned by Alpha Media, calls itself "Freedom 970" and airs a talk radio format. KUFO's offices and studios are on Southwest 5th Avenue in Portland. The transmitter is in Portland's West Hills off SW Barnes Road. KUFO broadcasts with 5,000 watts around the clock. By day, the signal is non-directional, but at night, KUFO uses a directional antenna to protect other stations on AM 970.

The Oregon Irish Famine Memorial is a memorial in Portland, Oregon's Mount Calvary Cemetery, in the United States. The 7-ton, 14-foot sculpture was designed by Brendan McGloin and dedicated in 2008. It features a sandstone cross with an Irish limestone base on a concrete foundation.

Mount Calvary Cemetery in the West Hills of Portland, Oregon, United States is a private cemetery owned and maintained by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon. It is the second-oldest Catholic cemetery in Multnomah County, and was the third cemetery built in the West Hills.

Sylvan-Highlands is a neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, United States located on the west side of the West Hills.

The Aubrey R. Watzek House is a historic house at 1061 SW Skyline Boulevard in Portland, Oregon, United States. Built in 1936–1937 for a lumber magnate, it was considered a major regional statement of Modern architecture not long after its completion. It was designated a National Historic Landmark on July 25, 2011. It is now part of the University of Oregon's John Yeon Center for Architecture, and is used as a special event facility.

The Willamette Stone was a small stone obelisk originally installed by the Department of Interior in 1885 in the western hills of Portland, Oregon in the United States to mark the intersection and origin of the Willamette meridian and Willamette baseline. It replaced a cedar stake placed by the Surveyor General of the Oregon Territory in 1851; this stake defined the grid system of sections and townships from which all real property in the states of Oregon and Washington has been measured following the Donation Land Claim Act of 1850. The Willamette meridian runs north–south, and the Willamette baseline runs east–west through the marker. The easternmost northeast corner of Washington County is sited on the marker.

The E. J. O'Donnell House in Multnomah County, Oregon, just outside the Portland municipal boundary, was designed in 1938 by architect Richard Sundeleaf for dairyman and cattle breeder Edward J. O'Donnell. It was completed in 1940.The single-story house was designed to be wheelchair-accessible for a child of the O'Donnells'. It has a "multiplicity of steeply-pitched cross gables at the east end and a variegated exterior of brick, lapped weatherboards as gable cladding, and secondary siding of boards and molded battens." It has bays and projections on its faces, and on the northeast has a kitchen/utility wing and on the southwest has a garage/bedroom wing. Its NRHP nomination describes that:The house displays the essential qualities for which Sundeleaf's Arts and Crafts architecture is admired. Porches have heavy post and beam framing. Solid craftsmanship emphasizes interior wood paneling and trim. A square module is used for division of window space, including sidelights for view windows on which such premium is placed in Portland's west hills. Building volumes are stepped down to the landscape through sheltered terraces and projecting window bays. The architect brings forward from earlier projects (see Clarence Francis House) a rear gallery—an updated screens passage which in archetypical manor houses leads to private compartments from the great hall or circulation core. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
