The A. F. Chapman House is a historic house located at 115 South Monroe Street in Watkins Glen, Schuyler County, New York.

US Post Office-Watkins Glen is a historic post office building located at Watkins Glen in Schuyler County, New York. It was designed and built in 1934-1935 and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. It is a small, two story, red brick clad building executed in the Colonial Revival style. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Watkins Glen is a village and census-designated place in and the county seat of Schuyler County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 1,829. Watkins Glen lies between the towns of Dix and Reading. To the southwest of the village is the Watkins Glen International race track, which hosts annual NASCAR Cup Series and WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races, and formerly hosted the Formula One United States Grand Prix and various IndyCar races. The village was the recipient of the ten-million-dollar Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) grant in July 2017 to revitalize the Mixed Use Village Center (VC). Former governor of New York Andrew M. Cuomo awarded fourteen projects in hopes that they would be catalysts for increased private investment in the village. This grant was largely secured by the work of local government officials and the Schuyler County Partnership for Economic Development (SCOPED). As of December 2023, the majority of the awarded projects have been completed.

St. James Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church located at Watkins Glen in Schuyler County, New York. It was built in 1864, and is a Gothic Revival style brick church. It has a high pitched gable roof, buttresses, and long pointed arched windows. It features a three-stage square entrance tower and belfry added in 1866. The chancel was expanded in 1878.: 3  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

First Baptist Church of Watkins Glen is a historic Baptist church located at Watkins Glen in Schuyler County, New York. It was built in 1888 and is a Victorian era religious building distinguished by a variety of vernacular Romanesque Revival and Queen Anne style inspired design and decorative detail. The brick structure rests on a raised stone foundation and features a large front corner tower. The architects were Pierce & Dockstader of Elmira. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Watkins Glen State Park is in the village of Watkins Glen, south of Seneca Lake in Schuyler County in New York's Finger Lakes region. The park's lower part is near the village, while the upper part is open woodland. It was opened to the public in 1863 and was privately run as a tourist resort until 1906, when it was purchased by New York State. Initially known as Watkins Glen State Reservation, the park was first managed by the American Scenic and Historic Preservation Society before being turned over to full state control in 1911. Since 1924, it has been managed by the Finger Lakes Region of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. The centerpiece of the 778-acre (3.15 km2) park is a 400-foot-deep (120 m) narrow gorge cut through rock by Glen Creek, a stream that was left hanging when glaciers of the Ice age deepened the Seneca valley, increasing the tributary stream gradient to create rapids and waterfalls wherever there were layers of hard rock. The area's rocks are sedimentary of Devonian age, part of a dissected plateau that was uplifted with little faulting or distortion. They consist mostly of soft shales, with some layers of harder sandstone and limestone. The park features three trails, open from mid-May to early November, by which one can climb or descend the gorge. The Southern Rim and Indian Trails run along the gorge's wooded rim, while the Gorge Trail is closest to the stream and runs over, under and along the park's 19 waterfalls by way of stone bridges and more than 800 stone steps. The trails connect to the Finger Lakes Trail, an 800-mile (1,300 km) system of trails within New York state.

The Schuyler County Courthouse Complex is a historic courthouse complex located on North Franklin Street between 9th and 10th Streets in Watkins Glen in Schuyler County, New York. It consists of a three-building government complex. The courthouse, built in 1855, is a two-story, rectangular brick building on a stone foundation. It features an inset square tower with an ogee roof and weather vane. It also has a small pedimented porch supported by Doric order columns. The Sheriff's residence is a two-story brick structure with a hipped roof and cupola. The third building is the one-story Clerk's office that measures 22 feet by 38 feet. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Watkins Glen High School, also known as Watkins Glen Middle School, is a historic high school building located at Watkins Glen in Schuyler County, New York. It was built in 1929, and is a three-story, Classical Revival style brick school. It has an "H"-plan and features a broad pedimented portico with full height Doric order columns. A two-story addition was built in 1958. It was used as a high school until 1969, after which it housed a middle school. The school was closed in 2013, and is to be developed into senior housing, using the gymnasium and auditorium as community space.: 3, 16  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Schuyler County is a county in the U.S. state of New York. As of the 2020 census, the population was 17,898, making it the second-least populous county in New York. The county seat is the village of Watkins Glen. The name is in honor of General Philip Schuyler, one of the four major generals in the Continental Army in the American Revolutionary War. The county is part of the Southern Tier region of the state.

The Watkins Glen Public Library is a public library located in Watkins Glen, New York. Founded in 1870 as the Ladies' Library, the library migrated between different transitional spaces during its early history. In 1896, it was formally chartered as a school district public library. In 1940, it found a formal home on the second floor of the Watkins Glen Municipal Building. In 1956, the library's charter was extended to correspond with the Watkins Glen Central School District. However, this location was not easily accessible and the library moved for a street-accessible building constructed in 1987, where it remains to this day. The library is a member of the Southern Tier Library System.

WINO (91.9 FM) is a community radio station broadcasting at 91.9 MHz, licensed to Watkins Glen, New York, and on W201CD 88.1 MHz, licensed to Ithaca, New York. The station studios are in downtown Ithaca.

Watkins Glen Grand Prix Course, 1948–1952 is a historic Grand Prix auto race track located at Watkins Glen in Schuyler County, New York. It includes the public rights of way that constituted the route of the original 6.6-mile (10.6 km) Watkins Glen Grand Prix course used from 1948 to 1952. After a car left the road in the 1952 race, killing one spectator and injuring several others, the race was moved to a new location on a wooded hilltop southwest of town.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
