The Embassy of Ghana in Kinshasa is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Ghana to the Democratic Republic of Congo. It also serves as the official residence of the Ghana ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Ghana ambassador residing in Kinshasa was formerly concurrently accredited to the Republic of the Congo, Chad, Central African Republic, Gabon, Rwanda, Burundi, and Madagascar.

The National Museum of the Democratic Republic of Congo (French: Musée national de la République démocratique du Congo) or MNRDC is a museum for the cultural history of the numerous ethnic groups and historical epochs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the capital Kinshasa. It was officially handed over to the Congolese government by representatives of the Republic of Korea in June 2019.The construction cost of US-$21 million was funded by the Korean Agency for Cooperation (KOICA). The building was built after a construction period of 33 months in cooperation between experts of the DR Congo and the Republic of Korea under modern aspects (locally available construction materials, use of solar energy, natural air circulation with only partial use of air conditioning, etc.) and represents the largest cultural policy investment of South Korea in Central Africa to date. In three public exhibition halls of 6,000 m2, 12,000 objects can be presented in their cultural context. The majority of the holdings of the National Institute of Museums (Institut des Musées Nationaux du Congo), however, must be stored in depots. Unlike in the past, when the director and scientific cooperation had been provided for decades by Belgian scientists from the Africa Museum in Brussels, Congolese experts have now been trained in South Korea. Thus, the Congolese cultural politicians have put their international cooperation on a broader basis than before.The museum was opened to the public on 23 November 2019 by the President of the DR Congo, Félix Tshisekedi. Referring to requests for the restitution of African cultural heritage from museums in Europe, Tshisekedi said: "We support the return of the scattered cultural heritage, especially in Belgium. The idea is there, but it needs to be done gradually. Of course it is a Congolese heritage, one day it will be necessary that this heritage is returned, but it has to be done in an organized way. It requires means for the upkeep. One thing is to ask for their return, but another is to conserve it."

Protestant University in the Congo (French: Université protestante au Congo, or UPC), is a university in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, affiliated with the Protestant Church which is known in the country as the Church of Christ in the Congo.

Kasa-Vubu is a municipality (commune) in the Funa district of Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.Along with Kalamu, it forms the historical African heart of Kinshasa. Formerly known as Dendale, the town's name derives from the first president of the Congo after independence, Joseph Kasa-Vubu, who was elected mayor of the commune in 1957.

The Senate is the upper house of the Parliament of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The senate was established in 1960, abolished in 1967 and re-established in 2003.During the transition period in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (2003 - 2006), the Senate, aside from its legislative role, also had the task of drafting the country's new constitution. This task came to fruition with the adoption of the draft in Parliament in May 2005, and its approval by the Congolese people, in a successful democratic referendum on 18 and 19 December 2005. The current President of the Senate is Modeste Bahati Lukwebo, elected in 5 March 2021. The Secretary General is David Byaza Sanda Lutala. The most recent Senate was sworn in on January 28, 2019.

The People's Palace or Palace of the People (French: Palais du Peuple) is the seat of the National Assembly and the Senate in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, formerly Zaire. It was completed in 1979 with a line of credit from the People's Republic of China.

Funa is an area of the capital city of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, comprising seven of the city-province's twenty-four administrative divisions—the communes of Bandalungwa, Bumbu, Kalamu, Kasa-Vubu, Makala, Ngiri-Ngiri and Selembao. It is one of the four so-called districts of Kinshasa. These were the administrative divisions of Kinshasa during much of the Mobutu years (1965-1997) and around which a number of government systems and services are still organized. For instance, Funa makes up a twelve-member National Assembly constituency designated as Kinshasa II. However, these districts are not part of Congo's territorial organization.

Ngiri-Ngiri is a municipality (commune) in the Funa district of Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.It is situated in the south of Kinshasa. Ngiri-Ngiri is one of the settlements which were built in the 1940s, located at the foot of the Kalamu and Kasa-Vubu hills to the south of the province.

The Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte (Martyrs of Pentecost Stadium), also known as simply the Stade des Martyrs and formerly known as Stade Kamanyola, is a national stadium located in the town of Lingwala in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is mainly used for football matches and has organised many concerts and athletics competitions. It also hosted a speech by Pope Francis in February 2023.It is the home stadium of the National Team of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the AS Vita Club and DC Motema Pembe of Championship Democratic Republic of the Congo football. The stadium has a capacity of 80,000.

The Our Lady of the Congo Cathedral (French: Cathédrale Notre-Dame du Congo) or simply Kinshasa Cathedral, is a religious building of the Catholic Church located in the Liberation Avenue (formerly also called November 24 Avenue) in the city of Kinshasa, the capital and largest city of the African country of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The building was built in 1947 when the country was still under colonial rule of Belgium, who called the area "Belgian Congo". During the government of Mobutu the church it was also called "Cathedral of Our Lady of Lingwala" for the place where the temple is located, since both names coexist.The temple follows the Roman or Latin rite and functions as the headquarters of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kinshasa (Archidioecesis Kinshasana) which was created in 1959 by the Bull "Cum parvulum" of the Pope John XXIII.
