Store Merløse is a town on Sjælland in Denmark with a population of 1,184 (1 January 2023). It is part of the municipality of Holbæk and close to Tølløse and Ringsted. It is a calm town with a primary school and a few businesses. For high school most people go to Tølløse. There is a local train from Vestsjællands Lokalbaner that will take you from Store Merløse to Tølløse or Slagelse.

St. Bendt's Church (Danish: Sankt Bendts Kirke) is a church in Ringsted, Denmark, which was originally part of a Benedictine monastery that burnt down in the 18th century. Built in the Romanesque style, it is the oldest brick church in Scandinavia, dating back to about 1170 when it replaced a travertine church from about 1080. It is considered to be one of Denmark's architecturally finest churches. Furthermore, it is of special historical interest as it is the first Royal church in Denmark and it houses the tombs of many of Denmark's earlier monarchs and noblemen.

Store Tåstrup Rectory (Danish: Store Tåstrup Præstegård) is a three-winged, half-timbered rectory located east of Store Tåstrup Church, just north of Store Merløse, Holbæk Municipality, some 50 km west of central Copenhagen, Denmark. Together with its three-winged home farm (avlsgård), which is located between the rectory and the church, it surrounds a large rectangular courtyard. Access to the courtyard and hence the main entrance of the rectory is through a gateway in the home farm. The rectory was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1950. The home farm is not listed but registered with "high preservation value".

Ringsted Abbey (Ringsted Kloster) was one of the earliest and most influential Benedictine houses in Denmark, active from the late 11th-century until the Danish Reformation. It was located at Ringsted on the Danish island of Zealand.

Ringsted Municipality (Danish: Ringsted Kommune) is a kommune in the Region Sjælland on the island of Zealand in east Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 295 km2, and has a total population of 35,906 (2023). Its mayor is Henrik Hvidesten, a member of Venstre. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Ringsted. Ringsted municipality was not merged with other municipalities on 1 January 2007, during the nationwide Kommunalreformen ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007).

Ringsted is a city located centrally in the Danish island of Zealand. It is the seat of a municipality of the same name. Ringsted is situated approximately 60 km (37 mi) from Copenhagen.

Ringsted railway station (Danish: Ringsted Station or Ringsted Banegård) is a railway station serving the town of Ringsted in central Zealand, Denmark. It is located in the centre of the town, on the southern edge of the historic town centre, and immediately adjacent to the Ringsted bus station. Ringsted station is an important railway junction where the main line Copenhagen–Fredericia, Copenhagen–Ringsted, and South Line railway lines all meet. The station opened in 1856, and its second and current station building designed by the architect Knud Tanggaard Seest was inaugurated in 1924. The station offers direct Intercity rail services to Funen, Jutland and Copenhagen, as well as regional rail services to Copenhagen, Odense and Næstved, all operated by the national railway company DSB.

Ringsted-Hallen is an indoor sports arena in Ringsted, Denmark primarily used for handball. The arena was built in 1997 and holds 1,600 spectators (approx. 600 seated). It is home to the Danish Handball League side TMS Ringsted.

Mørup is a manor house and estate located close to Sorø, Denmark. It is now owned by Sorø Academy The half-timbered main building dates from the beginning of the 19th century.

Bonderup, also known as Bonderupgård, is a manor house located 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) south of Holbæk, Denmark. It was purchased by the merchant Johannes Theodorus Suhr in 1852 and is now owned by the Suhr Family Trust (Den Suhrske Stiftelse).

Ortved is a small village with a population of only 255 (1 January 2023) in Ringsted Municipality in the central part of the island of Zealand, Denmark, and is a part of region Sjælland. It lies on Roskildevejen main road close to the city of Ringsted. Ortved is also the village with Denmark's 5th most popular camping.

Until 1 January 2007, Tølløse municipality was a municipality (Danish, kommune) in the northeastern part of the former West Zealand County on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 126 km², and had a total population of 9,832 (2005). Its last mayor was Poul Erik Jensen, a member of the Danish Social Liberal Party (Det Radikale Venstre) political party. The main town and the site of its former municipal council was the town of Tølløse. Tølløse municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Holbæk, Jernløse, Svinninge, and Tornved municipalities to form a new Holbæk municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 583 km² and a total population of 66,611 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Sjælland ("Region Zealand").
