Store Tåstrup Rectory (Danish: Store Tåstrup Præstegård) is a three-winged, half-timbered rectory located east of Store Tåstrup Church, just north of Store Merløse, Holbæk Municipality, some 50 km west of central Copenhagen, Denmark. Together with its three-winged home farm (avlsgård), which is located between the rectory and the church, it surrounds a large rectangular courtyard. Access to the courtyard and hence the main entrance of the rectory is through a gateway in the home farm. The rectory was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1950. The home farm is not listed but registered with "high preservation value".

Store Merløse is a town on Sjælland in Denmark with a population of 1,184 (1 January 2023). It is part of the municipality of Holbæk and close to Tølløse and Ringsted. It is a calm town with a primary school and a few businesses. For high school most people go to Tølløse. There is a local train from Vestsjællands Lokalbaner that will take you from Store Merløse to Tølløse or Slagelse.

Brorfelde Observatory (Danish: Brorfelde Observatoriet; obs. code: 054) is an astronomical observatory located in Brorfelde near Holbæk, Denmark. It is home to the Brorfelde Schmidt Telescope and was run as a branch of the Copenhagen University Observatory until 1996. It still has telescopes that are used by University of Copenhagen students, but the operating staff moved to the Rockefeller Complex in Copenhagen.Brorfelde Observatory and Brorfelde was a part of a Danish advent calendar running in 2012, and 2019 on DR1 - a Danish national TV channel.

Tølløsegård, also known as Tølløse Castle (Danish: Tølløse Slot), is a former manor house and estate located at Tølløse, Denmark. It has since 1997 been operated as a school under the name Tølløse Slots Efterskole. The current main building was built after a fire in 1944.

Until 1 January 2007, Tølløse municipality was a municipality (Danish, kommune) in the northeastern part of the former West Zealand County on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 126 km², and had a total population of 9,832 (2005). Its last mayor was Poul Erik Jensen, a member of the Danish Social Liberal Party (Det Radikale Venstre) political party. The main town and the site of its former municipal council was the town of Tølløse. Tølløse municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Holbæk, Jernløse, Svinninge, and Tornved municipalities to form a new Holbæk municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 583 km² and a total population of 66,611 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Sjælland ("Region Zealand").

The municipality covered an area of 103 km², and had a population of 5,943 (2005). Its last mayor was Annica Granstrøm representing Venstre, Denmark's Liberal Party. The site of the municipal council was the town of Nørre Jernløse. Regstrup is the biggest town in the municipal. Jernløse municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with existing Holbæk, Svinninge, Tornved, and Tølløse municipalities to form a new Holbæk municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 583 km² and a total population of 66,611 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Sjælland ("Region Zealand").

Tølløse is a railway town located in the northwestern part of the island of Zealand in Denmark. It has a population of 3,903 (1 January 2023).The town is located in Holbæk Municipality in Region Zealand and was the municipal seat of the former Tølløse Municipality until 1 January 2007. Tølløse is served by Tølløse railway station which located on the railway line between Roskilde and Holbæk, and is the terminus of the railway line from Tølløse to Slagelse, operated by Lokaltog A/S.

The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Stenlille. Stenlille municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with existing Sorø and Dianalund municipalities to form the new Sorø municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 317 km² and a total population of 28,336 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Sjælland ("Region Zealand").

Mørup is a manor house and estate located close to Sorø, Denmark. It is now owned by Sorø Academy The half-timbered main building dates from the beginning of the 19th century.

Nørre Jernløse Windmill (Danish: Nørre Jernløse Mølle) is a smock mill in the village of Nørre Jernløse, Holbæk Municipality, some 50 km west of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was originally built on Copenhagen's North Rampart in 1853 but some 30 years later moved to its current location. It remained in use until 1953 and was restored to working condition in 1979–82. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1983 and has since 1993 been operated as a working museum by a local mill guild.

Bjernede Church (Danish: Bjernede Kirke) is a medieval era round church located near Sorø, Denmark. It is one of only seven remaining round churches in Denmark and the only one of its kind on the island of Zealand.
