Store Merløse is a town on Sjælland in Denmark with a population of 1,184 (1 January 2023). It is part of the municipality of Holbæk and close to Tølløse and Ringsted. It is a calm town with a primary school and a few businesses. For high school most people go to Tølløse. There is a local train from Vestsjællands Lokalbaner that will take you from Store Merløse to Tølløse or Slagelse.

Bonderup, also known as Bonderupgård, is a manor house located 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) south of Holbæk, Denmark. It was purchased by the merchant Johannes Theodorus Suhr in 1852 and is now owned by the Suhr Family Trust (Den Suhrske Stiftelse).

Tølløsegård, also known as Tølløse Castle (Danish: Tølløse Slot), is a former manor house and estate located at Tølløse, Denmark. It has since 1997 been operated as a school under the name Tølløse Slots Efterskole. The current main building was built after a fire in 1944.

It was merged with Holbæk, Jernløse, Svinninge, and Tornved municipalities to form a new Holbæk municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 583 km² and a total population of 66,611 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Sjælland ("Region Zealand").

Tølløse is a railway town located in the northwestern part of the island of Zealand in Denmark. It has a population of 3,903 (1 January 2023).The town is located in Holbæk Municipality in Region Zealand and was the municipal seat of the former Tølløse Municipality until 1 January 2007. Tølløse is served by Tølløse railway station which located on the railway line between Roskilde and Holbæk, and is the terminus of the railway line from Tølløse to Slagelse, operated by Lokaltog A/S.

Brorfelde Observatory (Danish: Brorfelde Observatoriet; obs. code: 054) is an astronomical observatory located in Brorfelde near Holbæk, Denmark. It is home to the Brorfelde Schmidt Telescope and was run as a branch of the Copenhagen University Observatory until 1996. It still has telescopes that are used by University of Copenhagen students, but the operating staff moved to the Rockefeller Complex in Copenhagen.Brorfelde Observatory and Brorfelde was a part of a Danish advent calendar running in 2012, and 2019 on DR1 - a Danish national TV channel.

Mørup is a manor house and estate located close to Sorø, Denmark. It is now owned by Sorø Academy The half-timbered main building dates from the beginning of the 19th century.

The municipality covered an area of 103 km², and had a population of 5,943 (2005). Its last mayor was Annica Granstrøm representing Venstre, Denmark's Liberal Party. The site of the municipal council was the town of Nørre Jernløse. Regstrup is the biggest town in the municipal. Jernløse municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with existing Holbæk, Svinninge, Tornved, and Tølløse municipalities to form a new Holbæk municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 583 km² and a total population of 66,611 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Sjælland ("Region Zealand").

Tadre Watermill (Danish; Tadre Mølle) is a watermill on Taderød Bæk, a tributary of Elverdams Å, in Lejre Municipality, between Roskilde and Tølløse, some 30 kilometres west of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is now operated as a museum and nature centre under Roskilde Museum. It used to belong to Aastrup Manor.

The municipality covered an area of 94 km², and had a total population of 5,544 (2005). Its last mayor was Vagn Guldborg, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Stenlille. Stenlille municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with existing Sorø and Dianalund municipalities to form the new Sorø municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 317 km² and a total population of 28,336 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Sjælland ("Region Zealand").
