Nottingham Place

The High Commission of the Maldives in London (Dhivehi: އިނގިރޭސިވިލާތުގައި ހުންނަ ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ހައިކޮމިޝަން) is the diplomatic mission of the Maldives in the United Kingdom. It was established in 1995 by upgrading the existing Maldives Government Trade Representative's Office; it was officially opened by former Maldivian President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.This mission had once been called the Embassy of the Maldives in London (Dhivehi: އިނގިރޭސިވިލާތުގައި ހުންނަ ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ އެމްބަސީ) from October 2016, when the Maldives withdrew from the Commonwealth, to February 2020. The diplomatic mission reverted to being the High Commission of the Maldives on 1 February 2020, when the Maldives rejoined the Commonwealth.This high commission is also covering following countries :

The Kashmir Klub was a non-profit making, live music club that operated in central London, England between 1997 and 2003. It was located at 6 Nottingham Place, in the basement of a restaurant and bar called "Fabrizio" at the "Baker and Oven".The club was started in November 1997 by musician and early Iron Maiden member Tony Moore to provide a different approach to discovering, developing and promoting the best signed and unsigned artists available, and to create a "fertile, creative and spontaneous" atmosphere. The name was inspired by the Led Zeppelin track "Kashmir". Moore loved the track and also the band. He said "It seemed to me that Led Zeppelin covered nearly every genre of music in their time, from rock to acoustic. So I thought "The Kashmir Klub" would be perfect."

Nottingham Street is a street in the City of Westminster, London, that runs from Marylebone High Street in the east to Luxborough Street in the west. It is crossed by Nottingham Place. Bingham Place and Oldbury Place join it on the north side.

Colony, or Colony Bar and Grill is a restaurant, bar and grill located at 7–9 Paddington Street, Marylebone, Central London, England. It opened in early April 2010 and was run by restaurateur Carlo Spetale and the Michelin-starred executive chef Atul Kochhar.Atul Kocchar announced he was leaving the business in June 2011 to focus on other interests. The split was described as amicable.The cuisine of the restaurant is inspired by that of the British colonies from colonial Asia, East Africa, the Caribbean etc. but is mainly inspired by Indian street food, specifically "the marinades, aromatic flavours and grilling methods" of the street traders of colonial Asia. The General Manager of the restaurant is John Lacombe, formerly of The Connaught Hotel, 5th Floor Restaurant at Harvey Nichols and Notting Hill Brasserie amongst others. Lacombe is also responsible for the winery of the restaurant. It has a reputable cocktail lounge.

The Church of the Good Shepherd & The St. Marylebone Church Institute & Club is a grade II listed building in Paddington Street in the City of Westminster.

Paddington Street is a street in the City of Westminster in London that runs from the junction of Crawford Street and Baker Street in the east to Marylebone High Street in the west. Sherlock Mews, Chiltern Street, Luxborough Street, and Nottingham Place join Paddington Street on its north side. On the south side, Kenrick Place, Chiltern Street, and Ashland Place adjoin Paddington Street. The two open spaces of Paddington Street Gardens are situated on either side of the road. The Hellenic Centre is located at 16–18 Paddington Street.

Luxborough Street, formerly Northumberland Street, is a street in the City of Westminster, London, that runs from Marylebone Road in the north to Paddington Street in the south. Nottingham Street joins Luxborough Street on its eastern side.

St Marylebone Parish Church is an Anglican church on the Marylebone Road in London. It was built to the designs of Thomas Hardwick in 1813–17. The present site is the third used by the parish for its church. The first was further south, near Oxford Street. The church there was demolished in 1400 and a new one erected further north. This was completely rebuilt in 1740–42, and converted into a chapel-of-ease when Hardwick's church was constructed. The Marylebone area takes its name from the church. Located behind the church is St Marylebone School, a Church of England school for girls.

Paddington Street Gardens are two small public gardens located either side of Paddington Street in the Marylebone area of London. The larger south garden contains a children's playground.
