Streatham Hill ward is an administrative division of the London Borough of Lambeth, United Kingdom. It includes the neighbourhoods in the northern part of Streatham either side of the road of the same name.

Streatham Hill Theatre is a historic theatre in Lambeth, England. It was built in 1928–29 and was the last theatre designed by W. G. R. Sprague.Opening in 1929, it staged theatre, opera, ballet and variety until 1962, apart from a period between 1944 and 1950 when it was closed due to bomb damage. In 1962 it closed to theatre, reopening as a Mecca bingo hall. Bingo continued under several operators until 2017. It was Grade II listed in 1994 as "an unusually lavish example of a theatre built in the short-lived revival of building in 1929–30; as a suburban example of this date the building may be unique."The building was added to the Theatre's Trust Theatres at Risk register in 2018.Also in 2018, London Borough of Lambeth granted Asset of Community Value status to the theatre.Since 2018, the building remains out of use, apart from a small slot machine lounge, and there is a campaign to save the theatre for the community, led by the Friends of Streatham Hill Theatre.In 2021, Historic England added the theatre to its Heritage at Risk register.

Streatham is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2019 by Bell Ribeiro-Addy of the Labour Party. In the 2016 EU referendum, Streatham was estimated to have voted to remain in the European Union by 79%. This was the second highest remain vote in the United Kingdom, behind Vauxhall.

Streatham Hill railway station is one of three stations serving the district of Streatham, in the London Borough of Lambeth. It is 5 miles 57 chains (9.2 km) measured from London Victoria. The wooden station building at street level faces the busy Streatham High Road (A23) at the junction with Leigham Court Road. Services are operated by Southern. Access to the platforms – which are in a cutting below street level and which continue under a bridge beneath the road – is possible via a pair of staircases or lifts. A project to replace the staircases and introduce lift access was completed in 2009. The station is served by Class 377s and Class 455s.

Tulse Hill School was a large comprehensive school for boys in Upper Tulse Hill, in the London Borough of Lambeth, England. The school building had eight floors and served almost two thousand pupils. It opened in 1956 and closed in 1990. Notable alumni included Ken Livingstone, the former London Mayor.

HM Prison Brixton is a local men's prison, located in Brixton area of the London Borough of Lambeth, in inner-South London. The prison is operated by Her Majesty's Prison Service.

The George IV (also called George Four) was a public house and concert and dance venue at 144 Brixton Hill, in Brixton, London. At the junction with Waterworks Road, the venue in 2007 became the Southside Bar and later the Music Bar. Following its closure in 2012, it became a branch of Tesco.

The Family School at Larkhall was a small, alternative school, based in South London, UK, founded by Polly Griffiths in 2007/8 to offer a Democratic education model to primary age children. The school closed in December 2012. The Family School was in the Free Schools tradition, with no set curriculum, working on the basis that children are natural learners. The school was a charity, "reluctantly fee-paying", to quote its literature.

Ashby's Mill, often referred to as Brixton Windmill, is a restored grade II* listed tower mill at Brixton in the London Borough of Lambeth. The mill was in Surrey when built and has been preserved.

Tulse Hill ward is an administrative division of the London Borough of Lambeth, England. It stretches up from Brixton town centre to the South Circular road. The area contains several large housing estates around Tulse Hill, the road, but does not contain Tulse Hill railway station. At the 2011 Census the population of the Ward was 15,771.

Brixton Hill ward is an administrative division of the London Borough of Lambeth, England. It contains most of the road known as Brixton Hill and part of Acre Lane. It contains Brixton Prison, Lambeth Town Hall, Ashby's Mill (known as Brixton Windmill) and the adjacent Windmill live music venue, Electric Brixton (formerly The Fridge) and the Brixton centre of Lambeth College. The population of the Ward at the 2011 Census was 15,842.Brixton Hill ward is located in the Streatham Parliamentary constituency.

Dunraven School is a 4–18 mixed, all-through school and sixth form with academy status in Streatham, Greater London, England. Its buildings are based over two sites that were previously used as a teacher training college (formerly known as Upper School, now the South Site) and a primary school (formerly known as Lower School, now the North Site and occupied by the sixth form).In 2009, its sports hall was built using 40 old freight containers, a construction that was subsequently awarded the British Construction Industry Award.
