Hursh Road Bridge (Bridge No. 38) was a historic Whipple truss bridge spanning Cedar Creek near Cedarville, Allen County, Indiana. It was built in 1879 by the Western Bridge Works of Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was a 120 foot long, 16 feet wide ornate iron bridge.: 2–3 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 and delisted in 1993.

Blackhawk Christian School, established in 1973 in northeastern Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States, is a private K-12 Christian school with an enrollment of approximately 950 students PK-12 and is operated by Blackhawk Ministries. The school's motto is "Preparing Hearts and Minds to Serve Christ" Mark Harmon is currently the principal of the Secondary School, Doug Picket is principal of the Intermediate School, Kimberly Brown is the principal of the Primary School, and Kevin Newbry is the Head of Schools. Blackhawk Christian is ranked academically as one of the top schools in the Fort Wayne area. In 2009, it was the only school in the 11 counties in northeast Indiana area to graduate 100% of its students. In 2008, 93% of Blackhawk Christian students passed the ISTEP+ GQE exam. Blackhawk Christian School students' average SAT score is 100+ points higher than the state and national average. Ninety percent of Blackhawk graduates go on to some form of higher education.

Dupont Hospital is a 131-bed acute care facility located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The hospital was opened in 2001 as a joint venture between the Lutheran Health Network and is staffed by more than 260 physicians. The hospital includes the Dupont Resource Center, which offers lectures, screenings, counseling, and support groups.

Concordia Senior College was a liberal arts college located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and affiliated with the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS). It was founded in 1957 and closed in 1977. The senior college was a new type of institution for the LCMS. It provided future pastors with training before they attended a seminary, during their third and fourth undergraduate years of college. Concordia Senior College was by-and-large an all-men's institution with no female faculty, although there were a small number of female students who were housed in a separate dormitory. In 1977, the function of Concordia Senior College was transferred to other LCMS colleges, the Concordia University System. Today those colleges are responsible for much of the undergraduate training of future LCMS pastors. The campus became the home of the Concordia Theological Seminary as that institution relocated from Springfield, Illinois.

The Concordia Theological Seminary is a Lutheran seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It offers professional, master's degrees, and doctoral degrees affiliated with training clergy and deaconesses for the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS).
