Allen County is a county in the U.S. state of Indiana. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 385,410, making it the third-most populous county in Indiana. The county seat and largest city is Fort Wayne, the second largest city in Indiana.Allen County is included in the Fort Wayne Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Fort Wayne–Huntington–Auburn Combined Statistical Area. Allen County is the cultural and economic center of northeastern Indiana. The county is within a 200-mile (320 km) radius of major population centers, including Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Louisville, Milwaukee, and within a one-day drive of one-third of the U.S. population and one-fifth of Canadians.Occupied for thousands of years by cultures of indigenous peoples, Allen County was organized by European Americans on December 17, 1823, from Delaware and Randolph counties; and formed on April 1, 1824, at the Ewing Tavern. The county is named for Colonel John Allen, an attorney and Kentucky state senator who was killed in the War of 1812. Fort Wayne, founded at the confluences of the Maumee, St. Joseph, and St. Marys rivers, was chosen as the county seat in May 1824.

New Haven station is a historic train station located at New Haven, Allen County, Indiana. It was built in 1890 by the Wabash Railroad. It is a one-story, wood-frame building, with Stick Style / Eastlake movement ornamentation. It measures approximately 50 feet long and 20 feet wide and has a gable roof and board and batten siding.: 5 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003 as the Wabash Railroad Depot.

Mastodon Field is a baseball venue in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. It is home to the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons baseball team of the NCAA Division I Horizon League. The venue has a capacity of 200 spectators.Prior to the 2011 season, the field's surface and pitcher's mound were renovated. It also features a brick backstop, dugouts, batting cages, and grandstand seating.

Martin Blume Jr. Farm is a historic home and farm located in St. Joseph Township, Allen County, Indiana. The farmhouse was built in 1885, and is a two-story, Italianate style brick dwelling with a low hipped roof. Also on the property are the contributing large three bay timber frame threshing barn (c. 1883), timber frame hog barn (c. 1889), storage barn (c. 1899), brooder house, windmill frame, brick smokehouse, and privy.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Fort Wayne Park and Boulevard System Historic District is a national historic district located at Fort Wayne, Indiana. The district encompasses 34 contributing buildings, 61 contributing sites, 70 contributing structures, and 15 contributing objects in 11 public parks, four parkways, and ten boulevards associated with the parkway and boulevard system in Fort Wayne. The system was originally conceived in 1909 by Charles Mulford Robinson (1869–1917) and further developed and refined by noted landscape architect and planner George Kessler (1862-1923) in 1911–1912. The buildings reflect Classical Revival and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Later additions and modifications include those by noted landscape architect Arthur Asahel Shurcliff.: 5–6 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Hilliard Gates Sports Center is a multi-purpose arena located in the northeast corner of the Purdue University Fort Wayne campus, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It opened in 1981 and contains 68,106 square feet (6,327.3 m2) of space. It is home to the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons volleyball and men's and women's basketball teams.The venue is named for former area sportscaster Hilliard Gates. Before being renamed in his honor in 1991, the Gates Center was known as the Multipurpose Building.The center was damaged by two burst pipes in 2019, which released 20,000 to 40,000 gallons of water, forcing the cancellation of an indoor track meet.In addition to its use as a venue for intercollegiate competition, the Gates Center also has fitness facilities for students and faculty. Alumni and members of the general public may also use these facilities by purchasing a pass.
