Pompeston Creek is a creek in Burlington County, New Jersey. Pompeston Creek drains an area of 9 square miles, and runs through Riverton, Moorestown, Delran, and Cinnaminson. The river's headwaters are located in Moorestown, and Pompeston Creek flows directly into the Delaware River. Wetlands are common along the banks of the river.

Cinnaminson High School is a four-year public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Cinnaminson Township in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States, operating as the lone secondary school of the Cinnaminson Township Public Schools. The campus covers approximately 26 acres (110,000 m2). The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools.As of the 2020–21 school year, the school had an enrollment of 829 students and 66.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.4:1. There were 95 students (11.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 30 (3.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.For ninth through twelfth grades, students in public school attend Palmyra High School in Palmyra, together with students from Beverly, as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Palmyra Public Schools. In the early 1990s, the district had considered options to ends its sending relationship with Palmyra. As of the 2017-18 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 429 students and 41.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.4:1.

Riverton is a station on the River Line light rail system, located along South Broad Street between Thomas Avenue and Main Street in Riverton, New Jersey, though it is officially addressed as being on Main Street.The station opened on March 15, 2004. Southbound service from the station is available to Camden, New Jersey. Northbound service is available to the Trenton Rail Station with connections to New Jersey Transit trains to New York City, SEPTA trains to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Amtrak trains. Transfer to the PATCO Speedline is available at the Walter Rand Transportation Center. The station contains a traffic circle at South Broad Street and Lippincott Avenue, with non-functioning railroad signals and a sign on the evolution of grade crossing signs in front of a bicycle rack. A similar display can be found at Burlington South further to the northeast.

Riverton is a borough located in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough had a total population of 2,779, reflecting an increase of 20 (+0.7%) from the 2,759 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 16 (-0.6%) from the 2,775 counted in the 1990 Census.Riverton was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on December 18, 1893, from portions of Cinnaminson Township, based on the results of a referendum held six days earlier. Portions of the borough were taken to form Palmyra Township on April 19, 1894. The borough's name is derived from The Riverton Improvement Company, which was established after a group of ten purchased a 120-acre (49 ha) that would be the site of a planned community with homes erected for many of the founders along the riverfront.It is a dry town, where alcohol cannot be sold. The borough's dry status was an early character of the borough, with a clause inserted starting in 1952 by the Riverton Improvement Company into deeds for all properties in the community that prohibited the sale or manufacture of alcoholic beverages.The borough is located on the Delaware River and is pedestrian-friendly, with sidewalks, gas lamps, and Victorian architecture. Riverton is home to the Riverton Yacht Club, one of the oldest active yacht clubs in the country. Many residents' sailboats make their home at this landmark.

Project Challenge was conceived by Elaine Mendelow, a teacher in the district, who taught it for over 20 years, now being retired from the program.

Cinnaminson Township is a township in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. Cinnaminson Township borders the Delaware River, and is an eastern suburb of Philadelphia. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 15,569, reflecting an increase of 974 (+6.7%) from the 14,595 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 12 (+0.1%) from the 14,583 counted in the 1990 Census.Cinnaminson was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 15, 1860, from portions of Chester Township (now known as Maple Shade Township). Portions of the township were taken to form Delran Township (February 12, 1880), Riverton (December 18, 1893) and Palmyra (April 19, 1894).

The Philadelphia House of Correction is one of five local prisons operated by the Philadelphia Prison System. It is located at 8001 State Road in the Holmesburg neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia. The facility was built in 1874 and rebuilt in 1927. Originally it was designed to the same pattern as the now-disused Eastern State Penitentiary, but the reconstruction and modifications over the decades has produced many differences. Both facilities were outfitted with cells along a number of hallways radiating from a central hub. The cells were designed for single-occupancy in accordance with the Pennsylvania System.Although the facility can hold 1,250 prisoners in 666 cells, this prison was emptied of inmates in 2019 and Mayor Jim Kenney plans to officially close the facility in 2020.Given its age, the jail is the subject of political discussion concerning its future or replacement. The facility lacks modern fire-control systems and air conditioning.

Westfield Friends School (also known as WFS) is a private, coeducational Quaker day school in Cinnaminson, New Jersey, United States, within the Philadelphia metro area. Founded in 1788 and run by the Westfield Friends Meeting, it is the oldest Friends school in the United States operated by a meeting. The school's grounds are an 8+1⁄2-acre suburban campus. The school includes preschool through eighth grade, offering students an education based in Quaker values and an academic curriculum that prepares students for college-bound tracks in high school.

Palmyra is a station on the River Line light rail system, located on East Broad Street between in Cinnaminson and Highland Avenues in Palmyra, New Jersey, though its official address is on East Broad Street. The station opened on March 15, 2004. Southbound services go to Camden, New Jersey and northbound services go to the Trenton Transit Center. Palmyra station is located just east of Borough Park and the Palmyra Borough Hall.

Swedes Run (or Swede Run) is a river in Burlington County, New Jersey. Swedes Run drains an area of 3.63 square miles. Swedes Run drains into the Delaware River, and is approximately 11.95 miles long.
