Panther Branch School

Juniper Level Botanic Garden, is a 28+ acre botanical garden in Raleigh, North Carolina. The garden was established in 1988 by Tony Avent and his late wife Michelle. In 2018, Tony and Anita Avent gifted the privately owned Juniper Level Botanic Gardens to N.C. State University, while retaining lifetime rights. JLBG will become a sister institution to the J.C. Raulston Arboretum. No synthetic non-organic fertilizers have been used in the garden since 1988, and all runoff (outside of hurricanes) is captured on-site through a series of rain gardens and recirculating runoff collection systems. A large on-site composting program supplies nutrients and compost for the gardens. The botanic garden is open eight weekends per year. It also hosts The Center for Mindfulness and Nonduality, established by Anita Avent in 2013.

Plant Delights Nursery is a mail order plant nursery based in Raleigh, North Carolina, specializing in herbaceous perennials, and owned by Tony Avent and partner Anita Avent. Plant Delights Nursery was established in 1988 by plantsman Tony Avent and currently operates on the 28-acre campus of Juniper Level Botanic Gardens. Proceeds (15% of revenues) from Plant Delights Nursery's for-profit perennial plant nursery fund the research, ex situ conservation, educational programs, and ongoing maintenance of the not-for-profit Juniper Level Botanic Gardens, established in 1988, to bridge the gap between horticulture and botany. Juniper Level Botanic Gardens is also home to the Center for Mindfulness and Nonduality. The nursery operates as a mail order plant nursery through an extensive online shopping presence. It also hosts national and international plant societies and events as well as having 8 public open weekends per year where it sells perennial plants directly to the public on site. The garden and nursery also host educational classes to raise awareness of the mis-information prevalent in the gardening world, along with mindfulness and nonduality classes and retreats with Anita Avent at the Center for Mindfulness and Nonduality. Plant Delights Nursery has a specialty catalog with humorous, topical covers drawn by the acclaimed cartoonist Jack Pittman. Plant Delights Nursery has been featured in many newspapers, magazines, and on television.

Panther Branch Township (also designated Township 15) is one of twenty townships within Wake County, North Carolina, United States. At the 2010 census, Panther Branch Township had a population of 24,019, a 61.8% increase over 2000. Panther Branch Township, occupying 39.1 square miles (101.3 km2) in southern Wake County, includes small portions of the town of Garner.

Dr. Nathan M. Blalock House is a historic home located near Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina. It was built about 1910, and is a two-story, double-pile, Classical Revival-style frame dwelling with a hipped roof. The front facade features a full height, projecting pedimented portico supported by two pairs of fluted wood Ionic order columns and one-story wraparound porch. Also on the property are the contributing well house (c. 1910) and wall (c. 1910).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Edenwood, also known as the Smith-Williams House, is a historic home located near Garner, Wake County, North Carolina. The original section of the house dates to the early-19th century. About 1850, a frame Greek Revival-style I-house was added. A two-story frame wing was added about 1935. A center-bay two-story pedimented porch flanked by one-story, full-facade, attached porches were added to the front facade in the 1930s. Also on the property is a contributing outbuilding.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

It is sheathed in weatherboard, has a triple-A-roof, and a 1+1⁄2-story tall shed addition and gabled rear ell.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in September 2003.

Wake County Speedway "America's Favorite Bullring" is a quarter-mile NASCAR Sanctioned asphalt race track located in Raleigh, NC. The track holds stock car races on alternating Friday nights from April to September. As of the 2024 racing season, Wake County Speedway has seven main classes of race cars which include Late Model Stocks, Chargers, Legends, Mini Stocks, Bandoleros, Bombers and Champ Karts. The track also has special appearances from USAC, East Coast Flathead Fords, and the CARS Tour.
