Majk Abbey (Hungarian: Majk Apátság, Hungarian: Majk Abbey) is a Camaldolese abbey in Hungary and contains hermit houses (monastic cells) and a monastery church.

Vértessomló (German: Schemling) is a village in Komárom-Esztergom County, Hungary. On January 29, 2011 a moderate earthquake struck below Vértessomló. 26 damage cases have been reported in the greater epicenter area. It was essentially light damage like cracks in walls and fallen chimneys. The earthquake had a magnitude of 4.3 at a shallow focal depth of 5 km. People in Vértessomló and in Oroszlány ran into the streets and stayed there for a couple of hours because of the fear for aftershocks. The earthquake was well felt in Budapest.

Bánhida (in German: Weinhild) is the oldest quarter of the city of Tatabánya in north-western Hungary. Inhabited since ancient times, excavations in this area have uncovered finds from the Bronze Age and the Roman era. It is hypothesized that the name derives from a former landowner named Bán who owned a bridge across the Rákos River (now called Által-ér).

The Imre Földi Sports Hall (Hungarian: Földi Imre Sportcsarnok) is a multi-use indoor arena in Tatabánya, Hungary. The home of Hungarian top division handball club Tatabánya KC, it can accommodate up to 1,000 spectators in handball matches. Due to its dimensions, the sports hall is suitable for a number of other indoor sports as well as exhibitions and concerts.Built in 1976, the arena went through a refurbishment in 2009 at a cost of 212 million Hungarian Forint (approximately US$900,000). In the project the weightlifting hall has been expanded and a new 280 square meter warm-up room was created. On the top of the weightlifting hall a 255 square metre training hall for the wrestling department was constructed while judo competitors got a 220 square meter practice room on the top floor.Since March 2009 the sports hall bears the name of local Olympic champion weightlifter Imre Földi.

Tatabánya (Hungarian: Tatabánya vasútállomás) is a railway station in Tatabánya, Komárom-Esztergom County, Hungary. The station opened on 15 July 1884. The station is located on the main line between Vienna and Budapest (Line 1 Budapest–Hegyeshalom railway), Line 12 Tatabánya–Oroszlány railway and Line 13 Tatabánya–Pápa railway. The train services are operated by MÁV START.
