La Paz metro station (State of Mexico)

The 39th federal electoral district of the State of Mexico (Spanish: Distrito electoral federal 39 del Estado de México) is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of 40 such districts in the State of Mexico. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the fifth region. The 37th to 40th districts were created by the Federal Electoral Institute (IFE) in its 2005 redistricting process and were first contested in the 2006 general election.

Santiago Acahualtepec (Spanish pronunciation: [[sanˈtjaɣo akaˈwaltepek]]) is one of the natives towns in Iztapalapa, located east of Mexico City. It currently borders the town of Santa Martha Acatitla; with the colonias 1st and 2nd Ampliación of Santiago Acahualtepec, Miguel de la Madrid, Ixtlahuacán, and Lomas de Zaragoza, which were part of the farming lands of the natives of the town of Santiago.

Acatitla is a station along Line A of the Mexico City Metro. It is an aboveground station. The station has connections to bus routes 162B, 163, 163A, 163B, 164, and 166. Service at this station began 12 August 1991.

It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the fifth region. The 25th district was created by the 1977 electoral reforms, which increased the number of single-member seats in the Chamber of Deputies from 196 to 300. Under that plan, the State of Mexico's seat allocation rose from 15 to 34. The new districts were first contended in the 1979 mid-term election.

Tlapacoya is an important archaeological site in Mexico, located at the foot of the Tlapacoya volcano, southeast of Mexico City, on the former shore of Lake Chalco. Tlapacoya was a major site for the Tlatilco culture. Tlapacoya is known in particular for Tlapacoya figurines. These sophisticated earthware figurines were generally created between 1500 and 300 BCE and are representative of the Preclassic Period. Tlapacoya was also a manufacturing center for so-called "Dragon Pots" (see photo below). These flat-bottomed cylindrical bowls have white or buff surfaces incised with almost abstract Olmec-style drawings, generally of were-jaguars.
