Fugasówka [fuɡaˈsufka] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ogrodzieniec, within Zawiercie County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Ogrodzieniec, 6 km (4 mi) south-east of Zawiercie, and 42 km (26 mi) north-east of the regional capital Katowice.

Markowizna [markɔˈvizna] is a village in the Gmina Ogrodzieniec, Zawiercie County, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Ogrodzieniec, 5 km (3 mi) south-east of Zawiercie, and 41 km (25 mi) north-east of the regional capital Katowice.

Morsko [ˈmɔrskɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Włodowice, within Zawiercie County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-east of Zawiercie and 49 km (30 mi) north-east of the regional capital Katowice.

Gmina Ogrodzieniec is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Zawiercie County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the town of Ogrodzieniec, which lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Zawiercie and 43 km (27 mi) north-east of the regional capital Katowice. The gmina covers an area of 85.69 square kilometres (33.1 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 9,105. The gmina contains part of the protected area called Eagle Nests Landscape Park.

Ogrodzieniec [ɔɡrɔˈd͡ʑɛɲɛt͡s] is a town in Zawiercie County, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland, with 4,282 inhabitants (2019). It is noted for the extensive ruins of a medieval castle. Ogrodzieniec is a part of Lesser Poland. Ogrodzieniec lies among the hills of Lesser Poland Upland, on the outskirts of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie. The town has an area of 28 km2, and is located approximately 400 meters above sea level. In the south and west, Ogrodzieniec is surrounded by forests.

Parkoszowice [parkɔʂɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Włodowice, within Zawiercie County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of Włodowice, 6 km (4 mi) north-east of Zawiercie, and 46 km (29 mi) north-east of the regional capital Katowice.

Piaseczno [pjaˈsɛt͡ʂnɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kroczyce, within Zawiercie County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-west of Kroczyce, 9 km (6 mi) north-east of Zawiercie, and 50 km (31 mi) north-east of the regional capital Katowice.

Stadion 1000-lecia Państwa Polskiego (English: 1000th-Anniversary of Polish State Stadium) is a multi-use stadium in Zawiercie, Poland. The stadium has a capacity of 1500 people and was opened in 1966. The stadium is a home for Warta Zawiercie.

Bąkowiec Castle is a fourteenth-century knight's castle ruins, located in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The fortress was built as part of the Trail of the Eagles' Nests defence system, located in the village of Morsko, Silesian Voivodeship in Poland.

The Trail of the Eagles' Nests (Polish: Szlak Orlich Gniazd) of south-western Poland, is a marked trail along a chain of 25 medieval castles between Częstochowa and Kraków. The Trail of the Eagles' Nests was first marked by Kazimierz Sosnowski. Since 1980, much of the area has been designated a protected area known as the Eagle Nests Landscape Park (Polish: Park Krajobrazowy Orlich Gniazd). The castles date mostly to the 14th century, and were constructed probably by the order of King of Poland Casimir the Great. The trail has been named the "Eagles' Nests", as most of the castles are located on large, tall rocks of the Polish Jura Chain featuring many limestone cliffs, monadnocks and valleys below. They were built along the 14th-century border of Lesser Poland with the province of Silesia, which at that time belonged to the Kingdom of Bohemia. The Trail of the Eagles' Nests is considered one of the best tourist trails in Poland, marked as No. 1 on the official list of most popular trails in the country. It encompasses all 25 castles and watchtowers, and is 163 kilometres (101 miles) long (the bicycle trail is 188 km (117 mi) long). Most of the sites can also be reached by bus.

Włodowice Palace is a ruined palace situated in Włodowice, Poland. It was built on the spot of a wooden manor owned by the Firlej family. The first building was destroyed during the Polish-Swedish war in 1655-1660 (called "The Deluge"). The brick and stone palace was founded by the castellan of Kraków, Stanisław Warszycki at the end of 17th century (between 1669 and 1681). It was a two-storey baroque building with basements and an attic, covered with a mansard roof. It can be seen as a representation of an entre cour et jardin type of manor. In front of the palace there used to be a court with the entrance gate and behind the building there was a garden situated on the slope of the hill. In the 18th century the palace was owned by the Męciński family who redecorated the insides in classicist style. In the 1850s the new owners of the palace were the Poleski family. Michał Poleski, scientist and insurgent of the January Uprising in 1863, created a private agronomic school that was located on the second storey of the palace. One of the chambers was changed into a chemistry and physics laboratory, another one contained a library. The school existed here between 1870 and 1880. Probably around the turn of the 20th century the palace was rebuilt in a neogothic style. The last owner of the palace was Countess Maria Elwira O’Rourke, from a Polish noble family of Irish origin. She left Włodowice probably in 1927 or 1928, selling the palace to a local family. The present condition of the palace is a result of two fires that occurred in 1935 and 1956, along with negligent ownership.
