Heckelmanns Building

Tara House is a heritage-listed club house at 179 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane City, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Richard Gailey and built from c. 1878 to 1928. It was also known as the Irish Club, which owned and operated the building from 1919 to 2015. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992. It has now been converted to a cinema complex by the Sourris brothers retaining many of the original historical aspects of the building and its long history as the Brisbane Irish Club. The building is now known as The Elizabeth Picture Theatre.

Perry House is a heritage-listed office building at 167 Albert Street (corner of Elizabeth Street), Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Claude William Chambers and built from 1911 to 1923 by Thomas Keenan. It is also known as Royal Albert Apartments. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 27 October 1994.

Charlotte Street is a road in the central business district of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The street is one of a number that were named after female queens and princesses of the royal family shortly after the penal colony was settled. Mary Street runs parallel to the south and Elizabeth Street is the next street to the north. The one-directional road begins at a T-intersection where Creek Street becomes Eagle Street, close to the Brisbane River. Charlotte Street ends at another T-intersection with George Street. Here lies the 111 George Street tower containing mostly government offices. Charlotte Towers and Festival Towers are two tall residential buildings in Charlotte Street. The Elizabeth Arcade, St Stephens Cathedral, Comalco Place and The Pancake Manor are some of the other notable buildings located on Charlotte Street. A number of multi-storey car parks have been built on the road. A police station once located on the Queen Street Mall was transferred to Charlotte Street. The iconic Victory Hotel, also on Charlotte Street, closed on 27 July 2008 after a fire destroyed the premises. It has since re-opened in its original form.

123 Albert Street is a commercial office development in Brisbane, Australia. The modern style office building is located in the Brisbane central business district at 123 Albert Street. The building was completed in July 2011 and opened in October 2011. The Premium grade office tower was designed by Hassell and is owned by Dexus. The tower consists of 26 levels of office space and eight levels of car parking (five above ground) which provide 388 car park spaces. The building has a two design ratings: a 6 Green Star rating and a 5 Star Australian Building Greenhouse Rating which are pending assessment. On 25 August 2010 a worker was injured during the construction of the tower.The building was the first in Brisbane to employ a commercial concierge.

Brisbane Festival Hall was an indoor arena located on the southern corner of Albert Street and Charlotte Street, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It operated from 1910 to 2003, before being demolished to make an apartment building.

Wintergarden is a shopping centre located in the city of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was opened by the Premier of Queensland the Honourable Joh Bjelke-Petersen in 1982. It contains over 60 specialty stores over three levels. The Centre was developed initially by the Kern Corporation Limited and constructed by subsidiary, Kern Construction and was the brainchild of the then MD, Mr. V.B. Paul; it was intended to create a retail focus to the Brisbane Commonwealth Games held in 1982.

Her Majesty's Theatre, Brisbane (1888–1983), (also known as His Majesty's Theatre between 1901–1952) opened as Her Imperial Majesty's Opera House in Brisbane, Australia on 2 April 1888. It was the largest theatre in Brisbane. It was located at 193 Queen Street, Brisbane. Its façade was in the Italian Renaissance and Corinthian style.

Elizabeth Street is a major street in the centre of the city in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The street was one of the earliest in Brisbane being established at the beginning of settlement in Brisbane as Moreton Bay penal settlement. Today, most of the street is fronted by low-level retail outlets, with an increase in mixed use skyscrapers being recently constructed.

Regent Theatre was a heritage-listed cinema at 167 Queen Street, Brisbane, Australia. It was designed by Richard Gailey, Charles N Hollinshed and Aaron Bolot and built from 1928 to 1929 by J & E L Rees and A J Dickenson. It was one of the original Hoyts' Picture Palaces from the 1920s. It is also known as Regent Building. The auditorium interior was largely lost when it was converted into a 4 screen complex in 1979-80, but the building, including the surviving entrance and main foyer, was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

Charlotte House is a heritage-listed warehouse at 139–145 Charlotte Street, Brisbane CBD, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by John Joseph Lough and built from 1888 to 1889 by James Baker. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

Tattersalls Club is a heritage-listed club house at 206 Edward Street (with a second frontage on Queen Street), Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Hall and Prentice and built from 1925 to 1949. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

The 171 Edward Street is a future residential skyscraper to be located at 171 Edward Street on the corner with Elizabeth Street in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The tower will rise to 265m (274m AHD) which is currently the maximum height allowed in Brisbane central business district. The 81-storey tower will include 642 apartments; 313 one bedroom, 219 two-bedroom, 110 three-bedroom apartments. Recreation area with pool, gym and games room will be located on levels 4 and 5. Retail space is planned for the ground and mezzanine levels. Development application, lodged with the Brisbane City Council in December 2015, was approved in May 2016. As of 2019, approval expires in June 2020, Aria's commercial manager Michael Zaicek told Commercial Real Estate that they “have no intentions for a residential development in the near future”
