Wintergarden is a shopping centre located in the city of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was opened by the Premier of Queensland the Honourable Joh Bjelke-Petersen in 1982. It contains over 60 specialty stores over three levels. The Centre was developed initially by the Kern Corporation Limited and constructed by subsidiary, Kern Construction and was the brainchild of the then MD, Mr. V.B. Paul; it was intended to create a retail focus to the Brisbane Commonwealth Games held in 1982.

MacArthur Chambers is a heritage-listed former office building at 229 Queen Street (corner of Edward Street), Brisbane City, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Francis Richard Hall and built from 1931 to 1934 by George Alexander Stronach. It was also known as the AMP Building. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.The MacArthur Chambers building and sites adjacent to the building, comprising an entire city block, were redeveloped in the late 1990s, creating the shopping mall MacArthur Central. In 2016, MacArthur Chambers contains the MacArthur Chambers Apartment Hotel, the MacArthur Museum and an Apple Store.

QueensPlaza is an upmarket shopping centre located in Central Business District of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, with frontages on Adelaide Street, Queen Street Mall, and Edward Street.Construction began in September 2003. Stage 1 of QueensPlaza was completed in June 2005, with stage 2 being completed in October 2007. Stage 2 included giving the building more footage on the Adelaide Street side for more stores. The final stage, an expansion of David Jones, was opened in February 2008.Car parking is available at five basement levels. Fashion shows are held annually in the QueensPlaza as part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane.

Her Majesty's Theatre, Brisbane (1888–1983), (also known as His Majesty's Theatre between 1901–1952) opened as Her Imperial Majesty's Opera House in Brisbane, Australia on 2 April 1888. It was the largest theatre in Brisbane. It was located at 193 Queen Street, Brisbane. Its façade was in the Italian Renaissance and Corinthian style.

It was designed by Richard Gailey, Charles N Hollinshed and Aaron Bolot and built from 1928 to 1929 by J & E L Rees and A J Dickenson. It was one of the original Hoyts' Picture Palaces from the 1920s. It is also known as Regent Building. The auditorium interior was largely lost when it was converted into a 4 screen complex in 1979-80, but the building, including the surviving entrance and main foyer, was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

National Australia Bank is a heritage-listed former bank building at 180 Queen Street, Brisbane City, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by A & K Henderson and built from 1929 to 1930 by George Alexander Stronach. It is also known as National Bank of Australasia. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

Finney Isles & Co Building is a heritage-listed department store at 196 Queen Street, Brisbane CBD, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Claude William Chambers and built from 1909 to 1910 by James Mason. It was also known as David Jones.In 1992 the building was listed on the Queensland Heritage Register; at that time, the building was occupied by David Jones Limited which had taken over Finney Isles & Co in the 1960s.

The 171 Edward Street is a future residential skyscraper to be located at 171 Edward Street on the corner with Elizabeth Street in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The tower will rise to 265m (274m AHD) which is currently the maximum height allowed in Brisbane central business district. The 81-storey tower will include 642 apartments; 313 one bedroom, 219 two-bedroom, 110 three-bedroom apartments. Recreation area with pool, gym and games room will be located on levels 4 and 5. Retail space is planned for the ground and mezzanine levels. Development application, lodged with the Brisbane City Council in December 2015, was approved in May 2016. As of 2019, approval expires in June 2020, Aria's commercial manager Michael Zaicek told Commercial Real Estate that they “have no intentions for a residential development in the near future”

Tara House is a heritage-listed club house at 179 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane City, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Richard Gailey and built from c. 1878 to 1928. It was also known as the Irish Club, which owned and operated the building from 1919 to 2015. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992. It has now been converted to a cinema complex by the Sourris brothers retaining many of the original historical aspects of the building and its long history as the Brisbane Irish Club. The building is now known as The Elizabeth Picture Theatre.
