Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT) (officially Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G.R. Bus Terminus) is a bus terminus located in Chennai, India, providing inter-state bus transport services. It is located on the 100 feet (30 m) inner-ring road (Jawaharlal Nehru Road) in Koyambedu between SAF Games Village and the Koyambedu Vegetable Market. It is the largest bus terminus in India as well as Asia. Chennai Metro Rail operates a coach depot behind the bus terminus since 2015.

The Chennai Contract Carriage Bus Terminus or CCCBT is a bus terminus located in Chennai, in close proximity to CMBT catering to outstation private buses. It was inaugurated in August 2003.The CCCBT, spread over an area of 6.7 acres, has 68 bus bays, 126 idle parking, 51 travel agency office, 22 shops, and 14 passenger waiting halls with total seating facilities for about 120 persons. It is being maintained by CMDA. The CCCBT caters to about 5,000 passengers daily. Every day about 350 buses, about 450 on peak days, are operated to all parts of the state and to Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Arumbakkam Metro station is a Metro railway station on the Line 2 of the Chennai Metro, which is currently under operation. The station is among the elevated stations coming up along corridor II of the Chennai Metro, Chennai Central–St. Thomas Mount stretch. The station will serve the neighbourhoods of Vinayagapuram, Choolaimedu and MMDA Colony.

DG Vaishnav College (Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College), commonly known as DDGDVC, is a Liberal arts, commerce and science college in Chennai, India. It is an autonomous institution affiliated with the University of Madras. Koyambedu Junction, also called the Koyambedu Roundtana, is an important road junction in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is located north of the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus at the junction of the Inner Ring Road and the Poonamallee High Road (NH4) in the Koyambedu area/locality. The junction is a part of the Golden Quadrilateral project taken up under the National Highways Development Project.
