Kurungaleeswarar Temple is a historically important Shiva temple in the neighbourhood of Koyambedu, Chennai, India. The temple encloses a large tank and dates from the Medieval Chola period.

VR Chennai (Tamil: வி. ஆர். சென்னை) is a shopping mall located on Jawaharlal Nehru Road in Anna Nagar West, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This mall was opened to the public on 18 June 2018. The Chennai Contract Carriage Bus Terminus or CCCBT is a bus terminus located in Chennai, in close proximity to CMBT catering to outstation private buses. It was inaugurated in August 2003.The CCCBT, spread over an area of 6.7 acres, has 68 bus bays, 126 idle parking, 51 travel agency office, 22 shops, and 14 passenger waiting halls with total seating facilities for about 120 persons. It is being maintained by CMDA. The CCCBT caters to about 5,000 passengers daily. Every day about 350 buses, about 450 on peak days, are operated to all parts of the state and to Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

The Green Line or Line 2 is one of the two lines of Chennai Metro, Phase 1 Project. The line stretches from Chennai Central to St. Thomas Mount. Out of the 17 stations, 9 stations are underground and 8 are elevated.

Thirumangalam metro station is a Metro railway station on the Line 2 of the Chennai Metro. The station is among the underground stations coming up along corridor II of the Chennai Metro through Anna Nagar stretch. The station will serve the neighbourhoods where the old village of Thirumangalam once stood and now the area where the Thirumangalam Flyover, a prominent landmark and referred to by residents when giving directions.

Kothawal Chavadi is a neighbourhood in Chennai, India. It is situated in the northern part of the city adjoining George Town, Chennai. Until 1996, Kothawal Chavadi housed Asia's largest fruit and vegetable market. The market has since been moved to Koyambedu.
