Mediterranean Cosmos is a shopping mall located in Pylaia, a municipality of Thessaloniki, the second-largest city in Greece. It is the largest retail and entertainment development in Northern Greece.

Thessaloniki Science Center and Technology Museum (NOESIS) is a science and technology located at the outskirts of Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece. The museum is actively engaged in the protection of the Greek technological heritage. NOESIS has a 150-seat digital planetarium, a 300-seat Cosmotheatre with the largest flat screen in Greece, a 200-seat amphitheatre, as well as a motion simulator theater with three platforms, 3-D projection, and 6-axis movement. Elena Paparizou, a Greek pop singer, filmed part of a videoclip for her song "Number One", that won the Eurovision Song Contest 2005.In 2017, the museum was awarded a special mention at the Mariano Gago Ecsite Awards for welcoming refugee families and providing educational and social programming.

National Road 67 (Greek: Εθνική Οδός 67, abbreviated as EO67) is a limited access road in northern Greece. It connects the Motorway 25 (Thessaloniki - Nea Moudania) with the Thessaloniki International Airport.

P.A.O.K. Sports Arena (Greek: Κλειστό γήπεδο ΠΑΟΚ) is an indoor arena located in Pylaia, Thessaloniki, Greece, and it hosts the men's basketball, women's basketball, men's volleyball and women's volleyball departments of the multi-sports club PAOK. PAOK Sports Arena is the largest privately owned arena in Greece. It was opened in 2000, and in the same year, it hosted the EuroLeague and Greek Cup final-fours. It is built on land donated by Ioannis Dedeoglou, for which P.A.O.K. B.C. holds an annual tournament in his honor. It has 8,142 seats for fans and 502 parking spots. PAOK's volleyball department had to wait until 2002, to begin using the stadium. The arena also includes a training facility, club offices, shops, and a museum dedicated to PAOK basketball club. The arena was renovated in 2016.Most of people usually call the arena "Palatáki" (Greek: "Παλατάκι", which means "little palace"), due to its comforts and modern construction.

The American Farm School (Greek: Αμερικανική Γεωργική Σχολή) is an independent, nonprofit educational institution located in Thessaloniki, Greece. The school was founded in 1904 by American missionary John Henry House to serve the rural population of Greece and the Balkans. The current major educational divisions include the Secondary School, Perrotis College (Κολλέγιο Περρωτής), the Primary School Program, the department of Adult Education & Research and the Greek Summer program. Nea Krini (Greek: Νέα Κρήνη, literally New Fountain) is a district of the municipality of Kalamaria, Thessaloniki regional unit, Greece. It was originally founded by Greek refugees from the city of Çeşme in Asia Minor. Historically, most of its residents were practising commercial fishing, although the importance of fishing in the area has been diminished.

Thermi (Greek: Θέρμη) is a Southeastern suburb and a municipality in the Thessaloniki regional unit, Macedonia, Greece. Its population was 53,201 at the 2011 census. It is located over the site of ancient Therma.

Mikra (Greek: Μίκρα) is an under-construction metro station serving Thessaloniki Metro's Line 2. It will serve as the eastern terminus of the line and is expected to enter service in 2023.

Malév Hungarian Airlines Flight 262 was a flight from Budapest Ferihegy International Airport to Thessaloniki International Airport. On 4 July 2000, a Tupolev Tu-154, belonging to Malév Hungarian Airlines, used on this flight performed a gear-up touchdown during the landing at Thessaloniki, skidded on the runway, but was able to take off and land normally after a go-around. No injuries were reported.

Thessaloniki Airport (IATA: SKG, ICAO: LGTS), officially Thessaloniki Airport "Makedonia" (Greek: Κρατικός Αερολιμένας Θεσσαλονίκης "Μακεδονία", romanized: Kratikós Aeroliménas Thessaloníkis "Makedonía") and formerly Mikra Airport, is an international airport serving Thessaloniki, the second-largest city in Greece. It is located 13 km (8 mi) southeast of the city, in Thermi.The airport is the third-largest airport in the country after Athens International Airport and Heraklion International Airport. It opened in 1930 and was the second-busiest airport in Greece in terms of flights served and the third-busiest in terms of passengers served in 2016, with over 6 million passengers. It is the main airport of Northern Greece and apart from the city of Thessaloniki it also serves the popular tourist destination of Chalkidiki and the surrounding cities of Central Macedonia. The Athens–Thessaloniki route is the tenth busiest in the EU with 1.8 million passengers. To cope with demand, a second terminal was constructed in conjunction with Fraport and formally opened in 2021.
