The American Farm School (Greek: Αμερικανική Γεωργική Σχολή) is an independent, nonprofit educational institution located in Thessaloniki, Greece. The school was founded in 1904 by American missionary John Henry House to serve the rural population of Greece and the Balkans. The current major educational divisions include the Secondary School, Perrotis College (Κολλέγιο Περρωτής), the Primary School Program, the department of Adult Education & Research and the Greek Summer program. The school's mission is "to educate men and women, especially those from Greece and the Balkans, to become professionally accomplished in the latest aspects of agriculture and the life sciences."

The school serves Kindergarten through Year 12 of Sekundarstufe II/Lykeion (senior high school/sixth form).It was established on 13 February 1888, in Salonika, Salonika Vilayet, Ottoman Empire.

Thessaloniki Science Center and Technology Museum (NOESIS) is a science and technology located at the outskirts of Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece. The museum is actively engaged in the protection of the Greek technological heritage. NOESIS has a 150-seat digital planetarium, a 300-seat Cosmotheatre with the largest flat screen in Greece, a 200-seat amphitheatre, as well as a motion simulator theater with three platforms, 3-D projection, and 6-axis movement. Elena Paparizou, a Greek pop singer, filmed part of a videoclip for her song "Number One", that won the Eurovision Song Contest 2005.In 2017, the museum was awarded a special mention at the Mariano Gago Ecsite Awards for welcoming refugee families and providing educational and social programming.

Nea Krini (Greek: Νέα Κρήνη, literally New Fountain) is a district of the municipality of Kalamaria, Thessaloniki regional unit, Greece. It was originally founded by Greek refugees from the city of Çeşme in Asia Minor. Historically, most of its residents were practising commercial fishing, although the importance of fishing in the area has been diminished.

Mikra (Greek: Μίκρα) is an under-construction metro station serving Thessaloniki Metro's Line 2. It will serve as the eastern terminus of the line and is expected to enter service in 2023.

Anastaseos tou Kyriou (Greek: Αναστάσεως του Κυρίου, English: Resurrection of Lord) is a public cemetery in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is located about 10 km East from the center of Thessaloniki and belongs to the Municipality of Pylaia. It is divided in two parts (left and right) and in the middle there is a Greek Orthodox church as well as small funeral rooms.

The Pylaia depot (Greek: Αμαξοστάσιο Πυλαίας) is an under-construction railway depot serving Thessaloniki Metro's Line 1 and Line 2. It will feature 50,000 m2 (540,000 sq ft) of space and is expected to enter service in 2023.

The Mikra British Cemetery is a World War I-era British military cemetery in Kalamaria, a suburb of the city of Thessaloniki in Greece. It was opened in April 1917, and used until 1920. Following the Armistice the cemetery was greatly enlarged by the addition of locally buried graves. It is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
