Spurgeon House

Westchester Country Day School, formerly called Westchester Academy, is an independent, nonsectarian school that is situated just outside High Point, North Carolina, United States. After an interim period with Jim Cantwell in the 2009–2010 school year, Cobb Atkinson, the former Headmaster at the Valwood School, was hired as the permanent Head of School in July 2010.

Abbott's Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery is a historic Primitive Baptist church cemetery near Thomasville, Davidson County, North Carolina. There are approximately 450 gravestones, with the earliest headstone dating to 1795. Around one dozen unmarked field stones may date even earlier. The 351 locally manufactured gravestones makes it the largest such group in Davidson County, North Carolina. All of the epitaphs are inscribed in English because of the English and Scotch-Irish settlers who were members of the church. This was in spite of the headstones being cut by local German stonecutters.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

It is associated with the Spring Hill Methodist Protestant Church, founded in 1830. It contains approximately 300 burials, with the earliest gravestone dated to 1839. It features a unique collection of folk gravestones by local stonecutters erected in Davidson County in the late-18th and first half of the 19th centuries.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Brummell's Inn is a historic inn and tavern located near Thomasville, Davidson County, North Carolina. It was originally constructed as a small log house in the late-18th / early-19th century. It was expanded in about 1814 in a vernacular Late Georgian / Early Federal style, with later additions. The resultant building is two-stories and eight bays wide. Also on the property are a contributing smokehouse, barn, and cemetery. The stagecoach inn operated into the 1850s, after which it was used as a dwelling house.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

A.J. Simeon Stadium is a 15,000-capacity multi-use stadium in High Point, North Carolina. It is named after Anthony James Simeon (1910–2004), a former North Carolina Athletic Director of the Year. Simeon Stadium is the home of the High Point Central High School and T. Wingate Andrews High School football and soccer events. The stadium was also the home of the Carolina Dynamo professional soccer team of the USL Premier Development League from 1996 to 1999, and the Carolina Phoenix women's football team at various times. Currently, the stadium is home to the John Wesley University men's and women's soccer teams.Simeon Stadium is the largest of the four facilities that make up the High Point Athletic Complex. In addition to Simeon Stadium the complex contains Aderholdt Stadium, a 1,500-capacity multi-use facility used for football and track and field; Ray Correll - John Morris Field, a smaller soccer stadium; and Ed Price Field, a 650-seat baseball stadium.

Lucy and J. Vassie Wilson House is a historic home located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. It was built in 1926, and is a two-story, three bay, Colonial Revival style brick dwelling. It has a tile hipped roof, porte-cochère, and features a semicircular columned porch supported by four columns with stylized Corinthian order capitals. Also on the property is a contributing three-car brick garage.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. It is located in the Uptown Suburbs Historic District.
