Spring Hill Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery is a historic church cemetery located near High Point, Davidson County, North Carolina. It is associated with the Spring Hill Methodist Protestant Church, founded in 1830. It contains approximately 300 burials, with the earliest gravestone dated to 1839. It features a unique collection of folk gravestones by local stonecutters erected in Davidson County in the late-18th and first half of the 19th centuries.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Spurgeon House is a historic home near High Point, Davidson County, North Carolina. It was built about 1854 and is a two-story frame dwelling with Late Federal and Greek Revival design elements. It has an irregular configuration with a 1+1⁄2-story wing and two-story addition. Also on the property are contributing outbuildings including a kitchen, slave house, spring house, smokehouse, chickenhouse, two frame barns, a frame carriage house, and a log root cellar.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Abbott's Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery is a historic Primitive Baptist church cemetery near Thomasville, Davidson County, North Carolina. There are approximately 450 gravestones, with the earliest headstone dating to 1795. Around one dozen unmarked field stones may date even earlier. The 351 locally manufactured gravestones makes it the largest such group in Davidson County, North Carolina. All of the epitaphs are inscribed in English because of the English and Scotch-Irish settlers who were members of the church. This was in spite of the headstones being cut by local German stonecutters.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Lucy and J. Vassie Wilson House is a historic home located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. It was built in 1926, and is a two-story, three bay, Colonial Revival style brick dwelling. It has a tile hipped roof, porte-cochère, and features a semicircular columned porch supported by four columns with stylized Corinthian order capitals. Also on the property is a contributing three-car brick garage.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. It is located in the Uptown Suburbs Historic District.

A.J. Simeon Stadium is a 15,000-capacity multi-use stadium in High Point, North Carolina. It is named after Anthony James Simeon (1910–2004), a former North Carolina Athletic Director of the Year. Simeon Stadium is the home of the High Point Central High School and T. Wingate Andrews High School football and soccer events. The stadium was also the home of the Carolina Dynamo professional soccer team of the USL Premier Development League from 1996 to 1999, and the Carolina Phoenix women's football team at various times. Currently, the stadium is home to the John Wesley University men's and women's soccer teams.Simeon Stadium is the largest of the four facilities that make up the High Point Athletic Complex. Uptown Suburbs Historic District, also known as Johnson Place, Sheraton Hill, The Parkway, Roland Park, and Emerywood, is a national historic district located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 759 contributing buildings, 2 contributing sites, and 12 contributing structures in a predominantly middle- to upper-class residential section of High Point. They were built between 1903 and 1963 and include notable examples of Colonial Revival architecture, Tudor Revival architecture, and Bungalow / American Craftsman architecture. Located in the district and listed separately are the Lucy and J. Vassie Wilson House, Dr. C. S. Grayson House, Hardee Apartments, J. C. Siceloff House, John H. Adams House, and A. E. Taplin Apartment Building. Another notable building is the Sidney Halstead Tomlinson House (c. 1924).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

A. E. Taplin Apartment Building is a historic apartment building located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. It was built in 1920, and is a three-story, stuccoed frame Mission Revival style building housing five apartments. It has a low hipped roof, a pair of arched entry doors within a semi-circular arch, and a second-level balcony of black wrought iron.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. It is located in the Uptown Suburbs Historic District.

The Academy at Central is a public high school located in High Point, North Carolina. The school has a population of approximately 136 students in 9th–12th grades. The school's offerings include certification tracks in health care and information technology. The school offers certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant, Microsoft Certified Application Specialist and Microsoft Certified IT Professional. Since 2012, The Academy at Central has exceeded expected growth on North Carolina Standardized tests, and boasts a 100% graduation rate. Beginning in 2015 and again for 2016, The Academy at Central has been named one of the top high schools in the country for economically disadvantaged students by Newsweek magazine. Founded in 2006, the Academy is a Guilford County Schools Early College. Students in 11th and 12th grade take college classes at Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown or High Point and earn dual high school and college credit.
