The artist Alfred Leete died at his home No. 34 in 1933.

Earls Terrace is a street in Kensington, London, W8. It has houses on one side only, a terrace of 25 Georgian houses, built in 1800–1810, all of which are Grade II listed. Numbers 1 and 25, at the ends of the terrace, are converted into flats.The street overlooks Kensington High Street, with a grass and garden in front, and backs onto Edwardes Square. The entire terrace of 23 houses was redeveloped by Northacre, adding underground swimming pools and garages.The communal garden is 0.5057 hectares (1.250 acres) in size, and is not open to the public.

Our Lady of Victories, in Kensington, London, is a Roman Catholic church. The original church opened in 1869, and for 34 years to 1903 served as Pro-Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Westminster. That building was destroyed by bombing in 1940: its successor, which survives, opened in 1959. The church stands at 235a Kensington High Street, Kensington, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Pembroke Gardens is a street in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London. It is in two parts meeting at a right angle, and runs from a junction with Pembroke Road and Cromwell Crescent to another junction with Warwick Gardens. It also intersects with the south-west corner of Edwardes Square. It was developed in the 1850s and 1860s, largely by Richard Albion Holliday of Newland Street.On 29 September 1933, Ernest Holloway Oldham was found dead at his home, 31 Pembroke Gardens with his head in a gas oven. Oldham was a cipher clerk in the Foreign Office, but from 1929 until his death in 1933 was a Soviet spy for money, rather than some ideological motivation. Although ostensibly a suicide, it is just as likely that he was killed by the Soviets. His wife Lucy King was found dead in The Thames in 1950. It is possible that they were both killed by the Soviets or MI5.

The Design Museum in Kensington, London exhibits product, industrial, graphic, fashion, and architectural design. In 2018, the museum won the European Museum of the Year Award. The museum operates as a registered charity, and all funds generated by ticket sales aid the museum in curating new exhibitions.

Garden Lodge at Logan Place in Kensington, London W8 is a detached house that was built from 1908-09 for the painter Cecil Rae and his wife, the sculptor Constance Halford. The house has had several notable inhabitants since Rae including Peter Wilson, the chairman of Sotheby's auction house, and was the last residence of the singer and songwriter Freddie Mercury from 1980 until his death at the house in 1991.

Phillimore Gardens is a street in Kensington, West London, England. Phillimore Gardens runs roughly north to south from Duchess of Bedford's Walk to Kensington High Street. The houses on the west side all back on to Holland Park.

18 Melbury Road is a large semi-detached house in the Holland Park district of Kensington and Chelsea, London W14, England, located just north of Kensington High Street. The house was built in Victorian times as a brick and stucco house with gas lighting by William Turner of Chelsea, London and originally sold on a 90-year lease.The 1877 building is semi-detached with No 16. Both houses have three storeys with attic dormers and a tiled roof, built in brick with Flemish bond and painted cement. Attached to the rear outer corner of No 18 is a single-storey brick studio building. The building is Grade II listed, along with the semi-detached and mirror-image 16 Melbury Road and a later attached studio building at 18A Melbury Road. It was the home and studio of the Pre-Raphaelite painter, William Holman Hunt, from 1903 until his death in 1910. Cetshwayo kaMpande (c.1826–1884), King of the Zulus, stayed here in 1882. Both Holman Hunt (in 1923) and Cetshwayo (in 2006) are recorded with blue plaques by English Heritage on the front of the building, one above the other. In 1923, the MI6 British Secret Intelligence Service moved to 18 Melbury Road due to financial restrictions but moved back to Westminster within a year.

18 Stafford Terrace, formerly known as Linley Sambourne House, was the home of the Punch illustrator Edward Linley Sambourne (1844–1910) in Kensington, London. The house, now Grade II* listed, is currently open to the public as a museum. 18 Stafford Terrace was an almost new townhouse when the Sambournes moved in, in 1875. It was Linley Sambourne who set about re-decorating the house in the Aesthetic style. Today the house is a fine example of middle-class Aestheticism; its influences can still be seen permeating throughout the house, from decorative Sunflower motifs in the stained glass windows to the fine selection of William Morris wallpapers that hang within the rooms through to the displayed collection of blue-and-white Chinese import porcelain.
