The artist Alfred Leete died at his home No. 34 in 1933.

Garden Lodge at Logan Place in Kensington, London W8 is a detached house that was built from 1908-09 for the painter Cecil Rae and his wife, the sculptor Constance Halford. The house has had several notable inhabitants since Rae including Peter Wilson, the chairman of Sotheby's auction house, and was the last residence of the singer and songwriter Freddie Mercury from 1980 until his death at the house in 1991.

Our Lady of Victories, in Kensington, London, is a Roman Catholic church. The original church opened in 1869, and for 34 years to 1903 served as Pro-Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Westminster. That building was destroyed by bombing in 1940: its successor, which survives, opened in 1959. Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church is a church in Kensington, London, located at the south-west corner of the intersection of Allen Street and Scarsdale Villas. It is dedicated to the founder of the Church of Alexandria, Mark the Evangelist. The building was previously Saint John's Presbyterian Church and was opened in 1863.Purchased from the Scottish Presbyterian church in 1975, Saint Mark's was the first Coptic Orthodox church in Europe. It was the seed church of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Britain and Ireland, first served by three hieromonks who later became members of the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church. Services are conducted in both English and Arabic. The exterior of the church has remained almost unchanged since its construction in 1862-1863 in the Victorian Gothic style. However, the interior has changed significantly since then: in the 19th century to address aesthetic and practical issues apparent after the initial construction, involving several architects in the changes, and in the 20th century with its conversion to a Coptic Orthodox church. As part of the conversion, it was the first church outside Egypt to display Neo-Coptic iconography.

Abingdon Villas is a street in Kensington, London, that runs roughly west to east from Earls Court Road to Marloes Road, with crossroads at Abingdon Road and Allen Street en route. The street was developed in stages from 1852 to 1864. Initially, it was just houses, although later two blocks of flats were built, Abingdon Court (1901–1903) and Abingdon Gardens (1904), and the freeholder was the politician Henry Labouchère. The Abingdon pub is on the corner with Abingdon Road. The sculptor Matthew Noble died at his home at no 43 in 1876, of pleuropneumonia.In 1876, the artist, engraver and illustrator Joseph Austin Benwell died at his home at no 13.

Kensington United Reformed Church is a Grade II listed church in Allen Street, Kensington, London, England.It was built in 1854–55 as Kensington Congregational Chapel.Since the Union of the Congregational and Presbyterian churches in England and Wales in 1972, the church has been a member of the United Reformed Church.

18 Stafford Terrace, formerly known as Linley Sambourne House, was the home of the Punch illustrator Edward Linley Sambourne (1844–1910) in Kensington, London. The house, now Grade II* listed, is currently open to the public as a museum. 18 Stafford Terrace was an almost new townhouse when the Sambournes moved in, in 1875. It was Linley Sambourne who set about re-decorating the house in the Aesthetic style. Today the house is a fine example of middle-class Aestheticism; its influences can still be seen permeating throughout the house, from decorative Sunflower motifs in the stained glass windows to the fine selection of William Morris wallpapers that hang within the rooms through to the displayed collection of blue-and-white Chinese import porcelain.
