Marche (Milan Metro)

Zara is an interchange station between Lines 3 and 5 of the Milan Metro. The station opened in 1995. It was the final stop on Line 3 until 2003, when Maciachini was opened. It was the final stop on Line 5 and its only link to the rest of the network from the line's opening on 10 February 2013 until its extension to Porta Garibaldi on 1 March 2014. The station is located on Viale Zara, in the municipality of Milan.

Istria is a station on Line 5 of the Milan Metro.

Chiesa di Santa Maria alla Fontana is a church in Milan, Italy. Built in 1508, it was traditionally attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, Bramante or Cristoforo Solari (under the commission of Charles II d'Amboise, the French governor of the city, who was allegedly healed by a spring on the site of the future church in 1507): a document found in 1982, however, revealed that it was designed by Giovanni Antonio Amadeo.

Sondrio is a station on Line 3 of the Milan Metro which opened on 12 May 1991, more than a year after the opening of the original trunk of the line. It was the final stop on the line until 1995, when Zara (Milan Metro) was opened. The station is located on Via Melchiorre Gioia at the intersection with Viale Sondrio, in the municipality of Milan. The station is underground, built in a single tunnel with two trucks, and is sometimes flooded.

Palazzo Lombardia ("Lombardy Palace") is a complex of buildings in Milan, Italy, including a 43-storey, 161 m (528 ft) tall skyscraper. It is the main seat of the Lombardy regional government, located in the Centro Direzionale di Milano (CBD, Central Business District), north-west of the city centre. It was first inaugurated on 22 January 2010, and officially completed on 21 March 2010. After its completion, the Regione Lombardia skyscraper was briefly the tallest skyscraper both in Milan and in Italy, being taller than both the Telecom Italia Tower in Naples and the Pirelli Tower in Milan. It lost its supremacy to the Unicredit Tower (also located in Milan) in 2011. Palazzo Lombardia was designed by the architectural firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, winner of an international design competition in 2004, with Henry N. Cobb as design partner. The building won the 2012 International Architecture Award for the best new global design.

Isola is a station on Line 5 of the Milan Metro. It takes its name from the Isola (island) district of Milan in which it is located, its name derived from the neighbourhood's position cut off from the city centre by the main railway.

The Galfa Building or Galfa Tower (Torre Galfa in Italian) is a skyscraper in Milan, Italy, located in the Centro Direzionale di Milano district, north of the city centre. It was designed by architect Melchiorre Bega in 1956 and completed in 1959. The name "Galfa" is a portmanteau derived from the names of the two streets where the tower has its facades, Via Galvani and Via Fara. The building is 109 m and 31 floors high, with 2 more underground floors, and qualifies as the eleventh highest skyscraper in Milan. The overall design of the tower is mainly based on the International Style architecture. The building is rectangular, with the two lowest floors larger than the main body. The main structure in reinforced concrete is almost completely hidden by curtain walls made of glass and aluminium. The tower was originally built for the Sarom company; in the mid-1970s, it was sold by Sarom to the Popolare di Milano bank, and thereafter served as a service centre and headquarter of the bank. In 2006, Popolare sold the building for 48 million euros to Fondiaria Sai Group. On 5 May 2012, the building was occupied by a group of people which intended to create a space for artists; the project's name was Macao. The building was cleared by the authorities ten days later; anyway, project Macao remained, and Mayor Giuliano Pisapia promised to provide it another seat.After acquiring Fondiaria-Sai in 2012, the insurance group Unipol Group took possession of the building and began discussions with the Milan city council as to its eventual renovation. Work began in 2016, led by the design firm, Studio BG&K. In an interview with the Italian design magazine Abitare, Maurice Kanah, lead architect on the project, said that the refurbished building will contain "a mix of residential, hotel and commercial functions.”

Maciachini is an underground station on Line 3 of the Milan Metro which opened on December 8, 2003, thirteen years after the opening of the original trunk of the line. This station was the northern terminus of the line until March 26, 2011, with the extension of the line to Comasina. The station is located at Piazzale Carlo Maciachini on the Milan Ring Road, in the municipality of Milan.

The Gioia 22 Tower (Italian: Torre Gioia 22) is an office skyscraper in Milan, Italy.

The Seveso (Italian pronunciation: [ˈsɛːvezo]; Lombard: Séves [ˈseːʋes]) is a 55-kilometre (34 mi) Italian river that flows through the provinces of Como, Monza e Brianza and Milan. It rises on Sasso di Cavallasca or Monte Sasso of Cavallasca, near San Fermo della Battaglia. From here its course runs through the communes Montano Lucino, Grandate, Civello, Casnate con Bernate, Portichetto, Fino Mornasco, Cucciago, Vertemate con Minoprio, Asnago, Carimate, Cimnago, Lentate sul Seveso, Camnago, Barlassina, Seveso, Cesano Maderno, Binzago, Bovisio-Masciago, Varedo, Palazzolo Milanese, Paderno Dugnano, Cusano Milanino, Cormano, Bresso. Finally, at Milan, it joins with the canal called the Naviglio Martesana which flows into the Lambro. The Seveso is sometimes called il fiume nero, or “the black river” on account of the colour it acquires from industrial pollutants. The 'Oltreseveso' is the area in the north-west of Lombardy, (it is ‘oltre’ (beyond) the Seveso river). The beyond Seveso brianzolo, ( of Brianza), consists of the municipalities of Cermenate, Lazzate, Misinto, Cogliate, Ceriano Laghetto, Solaro and Limbiate.

Gioia is a station on Line 2 of the Milan Metro. The station was opened on 21 July 1971 as part of the extension from Centrale to Garibaldi FS.The station is located between Via Melchiorre Gioia and Via Giovanni Battista Pirelli, within the territory of the municipality of Milan. It is also the focus of the Management Center of Milan. This is an underground station, with two tracks in two separate tunnels.

Bosco Verticale (Vertical Forest) is a pair of residential towers in the Porta Nuova district of Milan, Italy, between Via Gaetano de Castillia and Via Federico Confalonieri near Milano Porta Garibaldi railway station. They have a height of 111 metres (364 ft) and 76 metres (249 ft) and contain more than 900 trees (approximately 550 and 350 in the first and second towers, respectively) on 8,900 square metres (96,000 sq ft) of terraces. Within the complex is an 11-storey office building; its facade does not include plants.The towers were designed by Boeri Studio (Stefano Boeri, Gianandrea Barreca and Giovanni La Varra). It also involved input from horticulturalists and botanists.The building was inaugurated in October 2014.
