Bellemont is an unincorporated community in Alamance County, North Carolina, United States. Bellemont is located on North Carolina Highway 49, east of Alamance, and 4.3 miles (6.9 km) south-southeast of downtown Burlington. The community is located at the junction with Bellemont Alamance/Mt. Hermon Road. The Bellemont Mill Village Historic District and Kernodle-Pickett House are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Bellemont Mill Village Historic District is a national historic district located at Bellemont, Alamance County, North Carolina. It encompasses 24 contributing buildings built between 1879 and 1880 in Bellemont. The district includes the three-story brick Bellemont Cotton Hill and 23 associated one and two-story frame mill houses.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Sunny Side is a historic home located near Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. It was built in 1871, and is a two-story, T-shaped frame Italianate style dwelling with Gothic Revival style design elements. It features an ornate two-bay hip-roof front porch. Also on the property are the contributing well house and smokehouse, and the remnants of the original gardens. It was built by Lawrence S. Holt, a prominent Alamance County textile mill owner and philanthropist.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

L. Banks Holt House is a historic home located near Alamance, Alamance County, North Carolina. It was built in the 1870s, and consists of a two-story main block, two-story ell, and one-story hip-roofed wing in a vernacular Italianate style. Parts of the house may date to the late 18th or early 19th century. Also on the property is the Holt family cemetery. The house now serves as the Alamance County Historical Museum.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

It encompasses 18 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure built between 1840 and 1947 in Alamance. The district includes 15 mill houses, a warehouse, and the mill dam and connected remains of the head race.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Cedarock Park is a 500-acre (2.0 km2) nature preserve, historic farm, and passive-use park located near Bellemont in Alamance County, North Carolina. The park opened in 1975 with Ronald Dean Coleman being the Parks Director at the time in the county. He envisioned a natural area a few miles from town where anyone could come and explore some of the most beautiful property Alamance County has to offer.

The Cedarock Historical Farm, located at Cedarock Park in Alamance County, North Carolina, provides an example of life on a farm in North Carolina during the 19th Century. Populated with farm animals, antique and replica farm equipment, and a farmhouse, the Historical Farm provides a fun, education stop while visiting Cedarock Park. The historic district encompasses nine contributing buildings, one contributing site, and one contributing structure. They include the Greek Revival style G. W. Garrett House (c. 1835) with its full complement of farm outbuildings including a log kitchen; the Greek Revival style Curtis House (c. 1820); a 12-foot-high rock dam which may date to the early 19th century; the ruins of the rock foundation of the Huffman Mill, a water-powered grist mill (c. 1880) constructed on the site of a brick antebellum cotton mill; and the Carney Post Office (c. 1893), a small one-story frame building.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Stinking Quarter Creek is a stream in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is a tributary of Big Alamance Creek. According to tradition, the name "Stinking Quarter" arose from the putrid stench of carrion after a buffalo hunt.

Burlington Outlet Village, formerly known as the Burlington Manufacturers Outlet Center (BMOC), was the first factory outlet center to open in North Carolina. The center consists of multiple buildings - the main portion of the property was originally constructed in 1981. Additional buildings were constructed in 1983. The center was renovated in 2007 & 2008. Renovations included: rebranding, new name, new logo, new marketing campaigns, new store fronts, lighting, signage, parking lots and landscaping to revitalize the center. Burlington Outlet Village is owned and managed by Anthony & Co. ONCOR International of Raleigh, North Carolina. The mall is 24 acre large and offers 25 brand name shops.

Alamance Regional Medical Center is a private, not-for-profit 238 bed hospital located in Burlington, North Carolina. The hospital opened in 1995 on Huffman Mill Road. Alamance Regional provides healthcare to residents of Alamance County, North Carolina and surrounding areas. Alamance Regional joined the Cone Health network in May 2013.
