L. Banks Holt House

Sunny Side is a historic home located near Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. It was built in 1871, and is a two-story, T-shaped frame Italianate style dwelling with Gothic Revival style design elements. It features an ornate two-bay hip-roof front porch. Also on the property are the contributing well house and smokehouse, and the remnants of the original gardens. It was built by Lawrence S. Holt, a prominent Alamance County textile mill owner and philanthropist.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

It was built in 1895–1896, and consists of a 2+1⁄2-story, L-shaped frame main block with 1+1⁄2-story frame wings in the Queen Anne style. It sits on a brick pier foundation and has a multi-gable roof with embossed tin shingles. The house features a variety of molded, sawn, and turned millwork.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The district includes the three-story brick Bellemont Cotton Hill and 23 associated one and two-story frame mill houses.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Cedarock Historical Farm, located at Cedarock Park in Alamance County, North Carolina, provides an example of life on a farm in North Carolina during the 19th Century.
