Alamance Crossing is a lifestyle center (outdoor shopping mall) in Burlington, North Carolina, United States. Opened in 2007, it is the second shopping mall in the city, as well as the larger. Alamance Crossing comprises more than seventy tenants, including eight major anchor stores: Belk, Dillard's, JCPenney, Barnes & Noble, Hobby Lobby, Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods and BJ's Wholesale Club. It was developed by CBL & Associates Properties, who also manages it.

It encompasses 18 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure built between 1840 and 1947 in Alamance. The district includes 15 mill houses, a warehouse, and the mill dam and connected remains of the head race.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Johnston Hall is a historic building located on the campus of Elon University in Elon, Alamance County, North Carolina. It was built in 1925, and is a substantial, two-story, H-shaped, red brick Classical Revival style building. The front facade features a one-story flat-roof porch carried by brick piers. The building is the historical centerpiece of the Elon Homes for Children campus, an orphanage founded in 1907. The building is named for Charles David Johnston, superintendent of the orphanage.The building was acquired by Elon University in 2003. It now serves as the headquarters for Elon University's Office of University Advancement.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

It is owned by Chuck Marsh, through licensee Triad Media Partners, Inc., and calls itself "Hope 104.5." The studios and offices are on North Main Street in Kernersville, North Carolina. By day, WPCM transmits 5,000 watts non-directional, but to avoid interference to other stations on 920 AM, at night it reduces power to only 55 watts. The transmitter is on Tower Drive at West Front Street in Burlington. Programming is also heard on FM translator 104.5 MHz W283BT in Burlington.

Elon College Historic District is a national historic district located on the campus of Elon University at Elon, Alamance County, North Carolina. It encompasses 6 contributing buildings and 1 contributing object that form the historic core of the Elon College campus. They are the West Dormitory (1907), and five buildings built between 1923–1927 which form an H-shaped complex: Alamance Building, Whitley Auditorium, Carlton Library, Duke Science Building, and Mooney Building. The object is a monument erected in 1929. All of the buildings are three-story red brick buildings of Colonial Revival / Georgian Revival design.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Elon University campus is a 636-acre (2.57 km2) campus in Elon, North Carolina United States. The campus is located mostly along East Haggard Avenue between Manning Avenue and North Oak Avenue, and North Williamson Avenue between the railroad tracks and University Drive.
