Hietzinger Synagogue

The Vienna School of Osteopathy (WSO) is a private educational institution in Austria specialising in osteopathy. Extra occupational and postgraduate trainings are offered for physiotherapists and doctors of medicine. University programmes are also open for graduates from other osteopathy schools. Up to now 550 students finished their training and currently 350 students are enrolled in training groups. Established in 1991, the WSO was the first provider of osteopathic training at academic level in Austria. It is located in Vienna, Hietzing at Frimbergergasse 6.

The Rufer House at Schliebmanngasse 11 in Vienna, was designed by architect Adolf Loos in 1922 for Josef and Marie Rufer. It is considered to be the first example of Raumplan style. Raumplan was very different from its predecessor Free Plan in its internal spatial organization. While not as well known as some of other of Loos’ houses, the Rufer House set the precedent for his later designs.

Klimt Villa (i.e. Villa Werner) is a building located in the Hietzing district of Vienna built in the early 1920s upon the last Viennese studio of the painter Gustav Klimt. The association of the term villa with the name Klimt is ahistorical but has served since to promote the preservation of the building since the 1990s. Klimt did not live in a two-storey, upper-class villa but rather in an unadorned, single-storey country cottage.

The Wüstenhaus Schönbrunn (Schönbrunn Desert House) is a desert botanical exhibit in Vienna, Austria. It is located in the Sonnenuhrhaus (“Sundial House”), which was built in 1904 as the newest of the four botanical houses in Schönbrunn Palace Park. The desert exhibit opened in 2004 as a counterpart to the “Rainforest House” that opened in 2002 in the nearby Zoo Vienna.

The Palmenhaus Schönbrunn is a large greenhouse in Vienna, Austria featuring plants from around the world. It opened in 1882. It is the most prominent of the four greenhouses in Schönbrunn Palace Park, and is also among the largest botanical exhibits of its kind in the world, with around 4,500 plant species.

The Hietzing Cemetery is a cemetery in Hietzing, the 13th district of Vienna.

Hietzing (German pronunciation: [ˈhɪtsɪŋ] (listen)) is a station on U4 of the Vienna U-Bahn. It is located beside the canalised Vienna River, on the border of the Viennese districts Hietzing and Penzing, and at the north-western corner of the grounds of the Schönbrunn Palace. It opened as part of the Wiener Stadtbahn in 1898 and became an U-Bahn station in 1981.The entrance to the station is at the western end of the platforms, on a bridge crossing the U4 line and the Vienna River. The station is integrated with an interchange that also hosts stops for lines 10 and 60 of the Vienna tramway, and bus routes 51A, 56A, 56B, 58A and 58B.At the eastern end of the station platforms, the track is straddled by a pavilion that was designed by Otto Wagner, who was responsible the artistic design of the Stadtbahn. The pavilion was intended as a private entrance to the Stadtbahn for the use of the Emperor Franz Joseph, although it was only used by him on two occasions. The pavilion was given a distinctive exterior and an Art Nouveau interior for its intended use. The pavilion, known as the Hofpavillon, is no longer connected to the station platforms, but is open to visitors as one of the sites of the Vienna Museum.

The Chapel of St. Roch is a Catholic chapel in Penzing at Penzinger Street 70, Austria. The chapel is dedicated to the two plague saints, Roch and Sebastian.

Wien Penzing is a railway station in Vienna, Austria. It is a stop on two S-Bahn lines, the S45 and S50. The station has three platforms and four tracks. Tracks 1 and 2 are for the S50, while tracks 3 and 4 are for the S45. Wien Penzing was opened in 1858 for the Empress Elisabeth Railway.
