Magnolia (Gadsden, South Carolina)

Grovewood, also known as Weston House, is a historic home near Congaree, Richland County, South Carolina. The original one-story dwelling was built about 1765, and moved to this site and enlarged to two-stories about 1835. It is a frame dwelling, with a stuccoed brick foundation, weatherboard siding, and a low hipped roof. Also on the property is a contributing frame kitchen.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

McEntire Joint National Guard Base or McEntire JNGB (IATA: MMT, ICAO: KMMT, FAA LID: MMT) is a military airport located in Richland County, South Carolina, United States, 10 miles (16 km) west of the town of Eastover and approximately 15 miles southeast of the city of Columbia. It is owned by the U.S. Air Force affiliated with the South Carolina Air National Guard (SCANG). The base is named for the late Brigadier General Barnie B. McEntire, Jr., the first commander of the SCANG and its first general officer. McEntire died on 25 May 1961 when he rode his malfunctioning F-104 Starfighter into the Susquehanna River to avoid crashing in the populated area of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The South Carolina Air National Guard was formed in December 1946. Today 1,250 members train at McEntire JNGS. About 900 of those are traditional Guard men and women. About 300 are full-time federal employees (technicians). About 50 are state employees (some are also traditional Guard members). The 169th Fighter Wing is the primary unit of the SCANG.

Siloam School is a historic school building located at Eastover, Richland County, South Carolina. It was built about 1936, and is a one-story, two-room building built with funds from the Works Progress Administration (WPA). It stands on a brick pier foundation and is clad in shiplap weatherboard siding. It operated as a school for African-American children until 1956.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Horrel Hill is an unincorporated community in Lower Richland County, South Carolina, United States. Situated south of Fort Jackson and northwest of McEntire Joint National Guard Base, it is centered at approximately the intersection of Garner's Ferry Road (U.S. Route 76/378) and Harmon Road/Horrel Hill Road (SC 86). Congaree Road (SC 769) meets Garner's Ferry Road about 120 meters to the east.

It was built about 1891, and is a small, one-story frame building. It was built by a Methodist congregation, and purchased by a Presbyterian congregation in 1919.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Hopkins Graded School, also known as Old Hopkins School, is a historic school building located at Hopkins, Richland County, South Carolina. It was built about 1897, as a one-teacher school. It is a rambling, one-story, L-shaped, frame building with weatherboard siding and a gable roof. It features a small square belfry with a pyramidal roof. A new school was constructed across the street about 1914, and the old school was subsequently used as a teacherage.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Hopkins is a census-designated place (CDP) in Richland County, South Carolina, United States. It was founded circa 1836 and named after John Hopkins (1739–1775). It is located 11 miles (18 km) southeast of downtown Columbia and is part of the Columbia Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, the population of the Hopkins CDP was 2,882.

The temple is located in Hopkins, South Carolina because of its central location within the state. The building is set in a residential neighborhood and surrounded by native loblolly pine and oak trees. The grounds are landscaped with the area's natural flora including myrtle, holly, mums, and dogwood trees. The exterior of the temple is gray granite and features art glass windows. The temple has the traditional lone spire topped by a gold-plated angel Moroni.
