Table Rock Civilian Conservation Corps Camp Site is a historic Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp site located near Pickens, Pickens County, South Carolina. It contains remnants of the CCC construction of Table Rock State Park between 1935 and 1941, including the recreation hall chimney, bulletin board with adjacent benches, grotto fountain, and basin. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Table Rock State Park is a 3,083-acre (12.48 km2) park at the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains in northern Pickens County, South Carolina.

The Oolenoy River is a minor tributary of the Saluda River sourced near Sassafras Mountain in northern Pickens County, South Carolina. Approximately 37 miles in length, it empties into the South Fork Saluda River near Pumpkintown. It is part of the Santee River System.

The site is associated with the CCC construction of Table Rock State Park between 1935 and 1941. It is one of four quarry sites used for materials in the construction of park structures and facilities at the park. The truck trail was used by CCC workers to gain access to the quarry.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The site is associated with the CCC construction of Table Rock State Park between 1935 and 1941. It is one of four quarry sites used for materials in the construction of park structures and facilities at the park. Located on the property is a concrete spring house built by CCC workers.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Doomsday Castle is a reality television series on National Geographic Channel, that was canceled in 2013, showing the lives of Brenton Bruns and his five children preparing for the end of the world, in a castle he has built near Pickens, South Carolina. The show is a spin-off of Doomsday Preppers; Bruns and his castle were originally featured on the season 2 episode "No Such Thing as a Fair Fight". Bruns says he built a castle to survive an electromagnetic pulse, since a castle can survive without electricity and defend against raiders. It started as a bunker in 1999, and is continuously being added to. Bruns states that his property is covered with booby traps, and his neighbors are "serious preppers with lots of guns".

Oolenoy Baptist Church Cemetery is a historic Baptist church cemetery located near Pickens, Pickens County, South Carolina. It was established about 1798, and contains 839 marked graves, with headstones, footstones, and a few plot enclosures. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Rocky River is a 50.3-mile-long (81.0 km) tributary of the Savannah River in the U.S. state of South Carolina. It flows into the Savannah River just west of Calhoun Falls at 34°05′28″N 82°38′25″W. It forms as the confluence of Beaverdam Creek and Little Beaverdam Creek northeast of Anderson at 34°34′13″N 82°33′02″W.

Headwaters State Forest is a 6,730-acre (27.2 km2) state forest, located in Transylvania County, North Carolina, along the South Carolina state line and is part of a larger 100,000+ acre conservation corridor that stretches some 80 miles along the state line. The name originates from the fact that the forest contains the headwaters of East Fork of the French Broad River. The North Carolina Forest Service primarily manages the forest for water and soil quality, as well as protecting rare species; however, primitive recreational uses are permitted.

Raven Cliff Falls on Matthews Creek in Caesars Head State Park, Greenville County, South Carolina, is the tallest waterfall in South Carolina. Although the waterfall is described as having a 400 foot drop, topographic maps suggest a height between 320 and 350 feet.

Sassafras Mountain is the highest point in the state of South Carolina, United States. It is in the Blue Ridge Mountains, part of the Appalachian Mountains. An observation tower opened on top of Sassafras Mountain in 2019.

Bald Rock Heritage Preserve is a state preserve in Cleveland, South Carolina, within the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area and managed by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. It is near Caesars Head State Park and overlooks Table Rock. Bald Rock is accessible via footbridge from a parking area off of U.S. Route 276. The property is closed at night (sunset to sunrise). No graffiti, alcohol, drugs, fires (or fireworks), camping, or littering is allowed on the property.
