Falmouth School

Falmouth Town Association Football Club is a football club based in Falmouth, Cornwall, United Kingdom. They are currently members of the Western League Premier Division and play at Bickland Park. The club were the first Cornish team to reach the first round proper of the FA Cup, which they have done on three occasions; 1962–63, 1967–68 and 1969–70.

The Congregationalist Cemetery (also known as the "Independent Burial Ground" or the "Dissenters Burying Ground") at Ponsharden, Cornwall was opened in 1808 to serve the Dissenting Christian congregations of Falmouth and Penryn. It received approximately 587 burials over a period of 120 years, before being abandoned in the 1930s. During the 20th century the site experienced significant neglect and extensive vandalism. In May 2012 a volunteer group began to restore the burial ground which (combined with an adjacent Jewish cemetery) is now a protected Scheduled Monument of national importance. The place-name Ponsharden is recorded in 1677 as "Ponshardy"; its meaning is Hardy's bridge.

Penmere Manor Hotel near Falmouth, Cornwall, is a house of historical significance and is Grade II listed on the English Heritage Register. It was built in about 1825 by a wealthy sea captain and was the home of numerous notable people over the next 150 years. Budock Water (Cornish: Roseglos, meaning church hillspur) is a village and former manor in the civil parish of Budock, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village is situated two miles (3 km) west of Falmouth.According to the 2001 census Budock parish had a population of 1,399. This had increased to 1,537 at the 2011 census. The parish includes the smaller villages of Lamanva and Treverva and encompasses 2,400 acres (9.7 km2) of land. The hamlet of Mongleath is also in the parish. Arable farming in the parish includes early potatoes, broccoli and daffodils.
