Tatra(s) National Park (Slovak: Tatranský národný park; abbr. TANAP) is one of the nine national parks in Slovakia. It is situated in North Central Slovakia in the Tatra Mountains. The park is important for protecting a diverse variety of flora and fauna, with many endemic species, including the Tatra chamois. The Tatra Mountains form a natural border between Slovakia to the north and Poland to the south, and the two countries have cooperated since the early 20th century on efforts to protect the area. Poland created an adjoining national park, and UNESCO later designated the combined effort a transboundary biosphere reserve.

Piwniczka is a cave in Miętusie Turnie in the Miętusia Valley in the Western Tatras. It is located within Tatra National Park in Poland. The entrance to it is located on the north-west slope of Mała Świstówka, above the Miętusia Wyżnia Cave, at an altitude of 1,440 meters above sea level. The length of the cave is 9 meters and its height is 7 meters.

Jaskinia Wielka Śnieżna ("great snowy cave") is a limestone cave system in Mount Małołączniak in the Western Tatra Mountains, of the Carpathian Mountains System, in southern Poland. The cave is within Tatra National Park. With the length of 23.723 kilometres (14.741 mi), and vertical range of 824 metres (2,703 ft), it is the longest, largest, and deepest cave in Poland.

Giewont (Polish pronunciation: [ˈɡʲɛvɔnt] ) is a mountain massif in the Tatra Mountains of Poland. Its highest peak, Great Giewont (Wielki Giewont), is 1,894 metres (6,214 ft)1,894 metres (6,217 ft) above sea level and the highest peak of the Western Tatras (Polish: Tatry Zachodnie) located entirely within Poland's borders. The mountain is regarded as the symbol of Zakopane, the Polish Tatras and Podhale, which throughout history has been the subject of many legends, poems and works of art.

The Kościeliska is a valley in Poland, in Tatra Mountains, Western Tatras, Poland. It stretches from the village of Kiry, about 9 km, right up to the main ridge of the Tatras. Halfway up is the Ornak mountain refuge, built in 1948. Is reached by road from Zakopane - 7 km.

Kasprowy Wierch (Polish pronunciation: [kasˈprɔvɨ ˈvjɛrx]; Slovak; Kasprov vrch; sometimes in Kasper Peak) is a peak of a long crest in the Western Tatras one of Poland's main winter ski areas. Its dominant southern crests mark the border with Slovakia. It is accessible in most conditions by foot and daily by cablecar.

Kościelisko [kɔɕt͡ɕɛˈliskɔ] is a village in Tatra County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. (It was previously in Nowy Sącz Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998.) It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Kościelisko. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Zakopane and 86 km (53 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków. In 2006 the village had a population of 3,900.

Gmina Kościelisko is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Tatra County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, on the Slovak border. Its seat is the village of Kościelisko, which lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Zakopane and 86 km (53 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków. The gmina covers an area of 136.37 square kilometres (52.7 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 8,035.

Kmeťov (Slovak: Kmeťov vodopád) is glacial waterfall in the High Tatras at about 1,245 metres (4,085 ft) in Poprad District, Slovakia. At about 80 metres (260 ft) (some sources say 90 metres (300 ft)), Kmeťov is the highest waterfall in Slovakia.

Wielka Krokiew (The Great Krokiew, in Polish krokiew means rafter) is the biggest ski jumping hill built on the slope of Krokiew mountain (1378 m) in Zakopane, Poland. It was opened in 1925. Since 1989 the hills bears the official name Wielka Krokiew im. Stanisława Marusarza. It is a regular venue in the FIS Ski jumping World Cup. The capacity of the ski jumping stadium is 40,001. The hill was featured in competitions at the 1939 and 1962 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships as well as the 2001 Universiade. In 1997, Pope John Paul II, while visiting his native country, celebrated a mass at the hill's stadium.Since 2001, due to the success of Polish jumper Adam Małysz, Wielka Krokiew has seen some of the largest audiences in World Cup ski jumping history. During the 2020 Ski Jumping World Cup – Teams, Japanese ski jumper Yukiya Satō (佐藤 幸椰) broke Dawid Kubacki's previous hill record at 143.5m with a massive 147m jump. It was also 4m meters better than the next best jump, at 143m which belonged to Ryōyū Kobayashi (小林 陵侑) from Japan.

The Museum of Zakopane Style at Villa Koliba is a division of the Tatra Museum in Zakopane, and a museum of Zakopane style. The villa was built between 1892 and 1893 in Zakopane style based on a design by Stanisław Witkiewicz. It was the first building ever erected in Zakopane style. The Koliba Villa is a registered Polish monument since 1983. The name koliba originates from the same word in Polish Goral regional dialect meaning a shepherds' hut.
