The Rochers de Naye (French, lit. "rocks of Naye"; 2,042 metres (6,699 ft)) is a mountain of the Swiss Alps, overlooking Lake Geneva near Montreux and Villeneuve, in the canton of Vaud. They lie on the range separating the basin of Lake Geneva from the valley of the Sarine, on the watershed between the Rhone and the Rhine. The mountain is partially located in the canton of Fribourg, the border between the two cantons culminating on a lower summit named Grande Chaux de Naye (1,982 metres (6,503 ft)). The Rochers de Naye are easily accessible from Montreux, where the highest railway in the canton, the Montreux–Glion–Rochers-de-Naye, starts. From the summit station (1,968 metres (6,457 ft)), only a short walk is necessary to reach the summit. In addition, it is also possible to access the summit by driving to Col de Jaman and then making the 2-3 hr hike to the peak. The Rochers de Naye are also known for the Rochers de Naye Via Ferrata considered to be extremely difficult (ED), the Grottes de Naye (caves which are accessible via the trail between Col de Jaman and Rochers de Naye), and a few enclosures hosting marmots from around the world.

The Pointe d'Aveneyre (2,026 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, located east of Villeneuve in the canton of Vaud. It lies south of the Rochers de Naye, on the range overlooking Lake Geneva.

The Tour d'Aï is a mountain in the western Bernese Alps, overlooking Leysin in the canton of Vaud. It is located near the Tour de Mayen, on the range lying between the Rhone and Col des Mosses, south of Lake Geneva, from where both summits can be easily seen. The summit can be accessed via a trail on its northern slopes, from the alp of Aï, near the Berneuse, above Leysin.

Les Agites (el. 1569 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Alps in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. It connects Yvorne and La Lécherette. The south side of the pass road lies in the Rhone valley. It passes through Corbeyrier and a 300-metre tunnel before reaching the summit. The tunnel is open to one-way traffic only, based on signs posted with allowable times of passage at both ends. The north side is substantially flatter, passing on the south shore of the Lac de l'Hongrin. This part of the road is open to private motorized vehicles only in summer. Near La Lécherette, the road meets the pass road that crosses the Col des Mosses.

The Tour de Mayen (2,326 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, located north of Leysin in the canton of Vaud. It lies east of the Tour d'Aï, on the range lying between the lake of Hongrins and the valley of Ormont Dessous and Ormont Dessus.

Veytaux is a municipality in the district of Riviera-Pays-d'Enhaut in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. The Chateau of Chillon provides a view of the entire Lake of Geneva located in Avenue de Chillon.

The Berneuse (or la Berneuse) is a mountain of the western Bernese Alps, above Leysin in the canton of Vaud. It lies on the range east of the Rhone valley, culminating at the Tour d'Aï. Its summit (2,045 m) is a popular destination, hosting the Kuklos, a revolving restaurant accessible by cable cabin from town. On a clear day, Lake Geneva is visible from this summit.

The Dent de Jaman is a mountain (1875 m) above Montreux, situated north of the Rochers de Naye.

Villeneuve railway station (French: Gare de Villeneuve) is a railway station in the municipality of Villeneuve, in the Swiss canton of Vaud. It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Simplon line of Swiss Federal Railways. The station is one city block east of the Villeneuve ferry terminal, with service to various destinations on Lake Geneva.

The Fort de Chillon is a twentieth-century fortification directly adjacent to the medieval Château de Chillon on the edge of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. The fort secures the road and rail lines that pass along the lakeshore running east from Lausanne to the mountainous interior of Switzerland. The position is an advanced work protecting the approaches to Fortress Saint-Maurice, part of the Swiss National Redoubt. Deactivated as a military post in 1995, it is privately owned and has been converted into a museum.

The Viaduc de Chillon is a viaduct in Switzerland located in Veytaux to the southeast of Montreux. Built by the Consortium des Viaducs de Chillon between 1966 and 1969, it takes its name from the Château de Chillon which lies downhill on the shores of Lac Léman. The viaduct comprises two structures 12 metres (39 ft) wide carrying the east and westbound lanes of the Swiss A9 autoroute.The choice of a viaduct was dictated by the steeply-sloping terrain, the need to avoid extensive deforestation and the esthetic implications of the proximity of the Château de Chillon. A tunnel was considered for the site, but was rejected to keep costs down. The bridge uses prefabricated concrete parts, assembled from a crane spanning overhead from pier to pierThe two viaducts span a total of 2,150 metres (7,050 ft) at a height of 100 metres (330 ft) above the lake. The two structures are staggered by several metres in height. The supporting piers are between 3 and 45 metres (148 ft) high and are separated by spans of 92 metres (302 ft), 98 metres (322 ft)} or 104 metres (341 ft). At the northern end of the viaduct, the road enters the Glion Tunnel. The southern end of the viaduct ends on the heights of Villeneuve. The viaduct offers an expansive view of Lac Léman, the Chablais, and Haute-Savoie on the opposite side of the lake.

Chillon Castle (French: Château de Chillon) is an island castle located on Lake Geneva (Le Léman), south of Veytaux in the canton of Vaud. It is situated at the eastern end of the lake, on the narrow shore between Montreux and Villeneuve, which gives access to the Alpine valley of the Rhône. Chillon is amongst the most visited medieval castles in Switzerland and Europe. Successively occupied by the House of Savoy then by the Bernese from 1536 until 1798, it now belongs to the State of Vaud and is classified as a Swiss Cultural Property of National Significance. The Fort de Chillon, its modern counterpart, is hidden in the steep side of the mountain.
