Pointe d'Aveneyre

The Rochers de Naye (French, lit. "rocks of Naye"; 2,042 metres (6,699 ft)) is a mountain of the Swiss Alps, overlooking Lake Geneva near Montreux and Villeneuve, in the canton of Vaud. They lie on the range separating the basin of Lake Geneva from the valley of the Sarine, on the watershed between the Rhone and the Rhine. The mountain is partially located in the canton of Fribourg, the border between the two cantons culminating on a lower summit named Grande Chaux de Naye (1,982 metres (6,503 ft)). The Rochers de Naye are easily accessible from Montreux, where the highest railway in the canton, the Montreux–Glion–Rochers-de-Naye, starts. From the summit station (1,968 metres (6,457 ft)), only a short walk is necessary to reach the summit. In addition, it is also possible to access the summit by driving to Col de Jaman and then making the 2-3 hr hike to the peak. The Rochers de Naye are also known for the Rochers de Naye Via Ferrata considered to be extremely difficult (ED), the Grottes de Naye (caves which are accessible via the trail between Col de Jaman and Rochers de Naye), and a few enclosures hosting marmots from around the world.

The Malatraix is a mountain and ridge of the Swiss Prealps, overlooking Lake Geneva in the canton of Vaud. The summit is 1,931 metres (6,335 ft) high, while the rocky part of the southwestern ridge culminates at 1,768 metres (5,801 ft). The Malatraix is part of the range between the Rochers de Naye and the Tour d'Aï, which culminates at the Pointe d'Aveneyre (2,026 metres, 6,647 ft). It belongs to the municipality of Villeneuve.

The Tour de Famelon (2,143 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, located north of Leysin in the canton of Vaud. It lies between the Tour de Mayen and the Pierre du Moëllé, on the range lying between the lake of Hongrin and the valley of Ormont Dessous and Ormont Dessus.

The Dent de Jaman is a mountain (1875 m) above Montreux, situated north of the Rochers de Naye.

The Tour de Mayen (2,326 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, located north of Leysin in the canton of Vaud. It lies east of the Tour d'Aï, on the range lying between the lake of Hongrins and the valley of Ormont Dessous and Ormont Dessus.

The Col de Jaman (1,512 m) is a mountain pass in the western Swiss Alps, connecting Montreux in the canton of Vaud to Montbovon in the canton of Fribourg. The pass itself, overlooked by the Dent de Jaman, is located within the canton of Vaud, the border with the canton of Fribourg running one kilometre east. The pass is connected to Les Avants by a paved road. A railway tunnel (Montreux–Lenk im Simmental line) runs below the pass.

Lac de l'Hongrin is a reservoir in Vaud, Switzerland. The reservoir with a surface area of 1.60 km2 (0.62 sq mi) is located in the municipalities of Château-d'Œx and Ormont-Dessous. The two arch dams Hongrin Nord and Hongrin Sud were completed in 1969. The Dam helps with hydro electricity, and stops flooding in the area. The water of the Hongrin reservoir is used for the Veytaux Pumped Storage Power Station. This power station has currently a nameplate capacity of 240 megawatts. Additional turbines which will double capacity to 480 MW will be commissioned by end of 2015.

The Dent de Corjon (1,967 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, located west of Rossinière in the canton of Vaud. It is the culminating point of the small range lying between the valley of L'Hongrin and the Sarine, north of the Lac de l'Hongrin.

The Tour d'Aï is a mountain in the western Bernese Alps, overlooking Leysin in the canton of Vaud. It is located near the Tour de Mayen, on the range lying between the Rhone and Col des Mosses, south of Lake Geneva, from where both summits can be easily seen. The summit can be accessed via a trail on its northern slopes, from the alp of Aï, near the Berneuse, above Leysin.

The Pierre du Moëllé (el. 1661 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Swiss Alps, connecting Leysin to the lake of Hongrin in the canton of Vaud. The pass lies between the Tour de Famelon and the Gros Van.
