Mason–Watkins House

Surry Mountain Lake is a 353-acre (1.43 km2) impoundment on the Ashuelot River in Cheshire County in southwestern New Hampshire, United States, in the town of Surry. The reservoir was built to protect downstream communities, such as Keene, from flooding. Surry Mountain Dam was built by the United States Army Corps of Engineers in 1941 as an earthen rock-fill structure. Its height is 83 feet (25 m), its length is 1,800 feet (550 m) at the crest, with a maximum capacity of 44,000 acre-feet and a normal capacity of 1,320 acre-feet. Both dam and reservoir are owned by the Corps of Engineers.The lake is classified as a warmwater fishery, with observed species including rainbow trout, brown trout, smallmouth and largemouth bass, chain pickerel, horned pout, and black crappie.

Alumni Field is a baseball field located in Keene, New Hampshire, United States. The field, located on Arch Street, was constructed in 1948 and has served as the home of the Keene Swamp Bats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League since the 1997 NECBL season. The field is part of the athletic facilities at Keene High School and is owned by the Alumni Association. The football, soccer, and track & field teams of Keene High School also use the facility. It holds a capacity of approximately 4,100 fans. Wilson Pond is located next to the field on the first base side. Alumni Field features three separate seating structures. The main, covered seating section is located on the first base side. On the third base side, a large, uncovered bleacher-style stand has 15 rows of seating. The third section is located behind home plate, a pair of smaller uncovered bleacher seating structures.Alumni Field hosted the 2006 NECBL All-Star Game. The game, attended by 3,183 fans, was won by the visiting Northern Division 6–2.

The Sawyer Tavern is a historic building at 63 Arch Street in Keene, New Hampshire. Probably built c. 1803–06, it was long a neighborhood landmark, serving as a tavern and then inn and restaurant for parts of the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is now in residential use. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Keene High School (KHS) is a public high school located in Keene, New Hampshire. It serves the city of Keene and the surrounding towns of Chesterfield, Harrisville, Marlborough, Marlow, Nelson, Stoddard, Sullivan, Surry, Westmoreland and Winchester. The Cheshire Career Center, a co-curricular and community education center, is located in the South Annex of the building. As of the 2014–15 school year, the school had an enrollment of approximately 1,391 students and 121.8 classroom teachers (on a FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 11.0.

It airs a hot adult contemporary music format. WKNE transmits in HD Digital. The station has been assigned the WKNE call sign by the Federal Communications Commission since January 21, 2003. Prior to that it held the WKNE-FM call sign since May 1985 (and prior to 1974), and WNBX-FM from 1974 to 1985.In December 2018, WKNE's HD2 subchannel relaunched as soft adult contemporary, branded as "EZ Favorites 100.3/107.5" and simulcast over WKVT-HD2/100.3 W262CL (meanwhile, the WRSI simulcast moved to WSNI's HD2 subchannel) and the classic country "WINK Classic Country 103.1 FM" service that had been airing over WKNE's HD3 subchannel was moved to WINQ-FM's HD2 subchannel so that a new oldies format, branded as "Pure Oldies 104.1", could debut on WKNE's HD3 subchannel (simulcast on translator W281AU 104.1 FM Keene).

Cheshire Medical Center is the only hospital in Cheshire County, New Hampshire, United States. The 115-bed hospital is located in the city of Keene, the Cheshire County seat. It is part of the Dartmouth–Hitchcock health care network.It was built in 1973 and replaced the Elliot Community Hospital on Main Street which had served as the city's hospital since 1892.

The Noah Cooke House is a historic house on Daniels Hill Road in Keene, New Hampshire. Built in 1791, this saltbox colonial is one of Keene's oldest surviving buildings, and a good example of Georgian residential architecture. The house was originally located on Main Street, but was moved to its present rural setting in 1973. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2002.

WZBK (1220 AM; "Rewind 92.7 & 102.3") is a radio station licensed to serve Keene, New Hampshire, United States. The station is owned by Saga Communications (through its Monadnock Broadcasting Group) and licensed to Saga Communications of New England, LLC. It airs a classic hits format. The station was assigned the WZBK call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on August 14, 2002.In October 2008, WZBK dropped its adult standards format in favor of a simulcast of the news/talk programming of sister station WKVT from Brattleboro, Vermont. On March 31, 2011, the simulcast of WKVT was replaced by a sports radio format, largely from ESPN Radio with a local afternoon drive show and local sports. In January 2017, the station dropped ESPN Radio for Fox Sports Radio. On July 27, 2021, WZBK changed its format from sports to a simulcast of classic hits-formatted WKVT-FM 92.7 Brattleboro, Vermont, branded as "Rewind 92.7 & 102.3".

Antioch University New England is a private graduate school located in Keene, New Hampshire, United States. It is part of the Antioch University system, a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) institution that includes campuses in Seattle, Washington; Los Angeles, California; and Santa Barbara, California. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The most well-known campus was Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, which is now independent of the Antioch University system.
