WKNE (103.7 FM, "103.7 KNE-FM") is a radio station licensed to serve Keene, New Hampshire. The station is owned by Saga Communications (which operates it as part of its Monadnock Broadcasting Group) and licensed to Saga Communications of New England, LLC. It airs a hot adult contemporary music format. WKNE transmits in HD Digital. The station has been assigned the WKNE call sign by the Federal Communications Commission since January 21, 2003. Prior to that it held the WKNE-FM call sign since May 1985 (and prior to 1974), and WNBX-FM from 1974 to 1985.In December 2018, WKNE's HD2 subchannel relaunched as soft adult contemporary, branded as "EZ Favorites 100.3/107.5" and simulcast over WKVT-HD2/100.3 W262CL (meanwhile, the WRSI simulcast moved to WSNI's HD2 subchannel) and the classic country "WINK Classic Country 103.1 FM" service that had been airing over WKNE's HD3 subchannel was moved to WINQ-FM's HD2 subchannel so that a new oldies format, branded as "Pure Oldies 104.1", could debut on WKNE's HD3 subchannel (simulcast on translator W281AU 104.1 FM Keene).

Distant Hill Gardens and Nature Trail is a privately owned 155-acre (63 ha) wildlife garden in New Hampshire, United States. The property is protected by a conservation easement. Features include a stone circle, outdoor sculptures, "450 varieties of labeled plants, a managed forest, a milkweed meadow, a pollinator meadow, a cranberry bog, a restored sugarbush, and 11 vernal pools. There's also a mile-long wheelchair and stroller-accessible trail, a beaver pond, more than 30 species of native trees and 150 acres of forest." Located in Cheshire County, within the towns of Walpole and Alstead, the gardens were built by married couple Michael and Kathy Nerrie, who first moved to what was then a 21-acre (8.5 ha) parcel in the 1970s as "back-to-the-landers." Michael Nerrie created the found-material sculptures that dot the property. They first opened Distant Hill to tourists and school groups in the 1990s. The property is accessible on selected weekends May through October.

The Mason–Watkins House is a historic house at the northwest corner of Old Walpole Road and Mine Ledge Road (RD #2, Box #316) in Surry, New Hampshire. Built in 1832, it is an example of the conservative persistence of Federal style architecture well after the Greek Revival had become popular in other parts of New England. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Surry Mountain Lake is a 353-acre (1.43 km2) impoundment on the Ashuelot River in Cheshire County in southwestern New Hampshire, United States, in the town of Surry. The reservoir was built to protect downstream communities, such as Keene, from flooding. Surry Mountain Dam was built by the United States Army Corps of Engineers in 1941 as an earthen rock-fill structure. Its height is 83 feet (25 m), its length is 1,800 feet (550 m) at the crest, with a maximum capacity of 44,000 acre-feet and a normal capacity of 1,320 acre-feet. Both dam and reservoir are owned by the Corps of Engineers.The lake is classified as a warmwater fishery, with observed species including rainbow trout, brown trout, smallmouth and largemouth bass, chain pickerel, horned pout, and black crappie.

The Walpole Academy is a historic former school building on Main Street in Walpole, New Hampshire. It is now owned by the Walpole Historical Society and operated as a local history museum. Built in 1831, it is a fine rural example of a 19th-century Greek Revival academy building, which served the surrounding area as a private academy until 1853, and as Walpole's public high school until 1950. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Stephen Rowe Bradley House is a historic house at 43 Westminster Street in Walpole, New Hampshire. The large Federal style mansion house was built c. 1808 for Francis Gardner, a lawyer and state legislator. From 1817 to 1830 it was the home of Stephen Rowe Bradley, a Vermont lawyer, judge, and politician, who played a significant role in Vermont's entry into the United States as the fourteenth state, representing the independent Vermont Republic in negotiations over its boundaries. This house is the only known surviving location associated with Bradley's life. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
