Boesingheliede (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌbuːzɪŋəˈliːde]) is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, and lies about 12 km west of Amsterdam. Boesingheliede has a population of around 140.

Halfweg (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦɑl(ə)fʋɛx]) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. Previously a part of the municipality of Haarlemmerliede en Spaarnwoude, it is currently a part of the municipality of Haarlemmermeer and lies about 8 km (5.0 mi) east of Haarlem. Its name, which translates as "halfway," comes from its location approximately halfway between Haarlem and Amsterdam.

Haarlemmerliede en Spaarnwoude (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌɦaːrlɛmərˈlidə ʔɛn ˌspaːr(ə)nˈʋʌudə] (listen)) is a former municipality in the Netherlands, located in the province of North Holland. It had a population of 5,760 in August 2017. On 1 January 2019, it merged with the municipality of Haarlemmermeer.The municipality was bordered by Zaanstad to the north, Amsterdam to the east, Haarlemmermeer to the south, Haarlem to the west and Velsen to the northwest.

Houtrijk en Polanen is a former municipality in the Dutch province of North Holland. It existed from 1817 to 1863, when it was merged with Haarlemmerliede en Spaarnwoude. Houtrijk en Polanen was the area on the south side of the former IJ Bay between Haarlem and Amsterdam, around the town of Halfweg.

Halfweg-Zwanenburg (Dutch: Station Halfweg-Zwanenburg, pronounced [staːˈʃɔn ˌɦɑl(ə)fʋɛxˈsʋaːnə(m)bʏr(ə)x]) is a railway station in west Halfweg and near Zwanenburg, Netherlands. It was opened on 9 December 2012 on the Amsterdam–Rotterdam railway

The Haarlemmertrekvaart [ˌhaːrlɛmərˈtrɛkfaːrt] (Haarlem's Tow-Canal) is a canal between Amsterdam and Haarlem in the province of North Holland, the Netherlands. It was dug in 1631, making it the oldest tow-canal in Holland. Travel on such canals was historically done by barges (or trekschuit in Dutch) which were towed by animals (and sometimes by man-power) on a path along the canal's edge (towpath).

The Gemeenlandshuis Zwanenburg (Dutch pronunciation: [ɣəˈmeːnlɑntsɦœyˈsʋaːnə(m)bʏr(ə)x]) on the Haarlemmerstraatweg in Halfweg is a former Gemeenlandshuis of the Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland designed by Pieter Post and built 1645–1648.

The Dijkgraafplein is a square in Amsterdam-Osdorp in the Netherlands, lying at the end of Tussen Meer. The square is named after the office of dijkgraaf (the chairman of a water board) in 1962. The Dijkgraafplein lies in the neighborhood that is now known as 'De Punt' and where many streets are named after waterways. Since 1962 tram line 17 terminates on this square. From 1971 tram line 1 also began here. In 2001, line 1 began running via a new tram track to De Aker and line 17 was again extended to the Dijkgraafplein, just as between 1962 and 1971.

Osdorp (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɔzˌdɔr(ə)p]) is neighbourhood of Amsterdam, Netherlands. A larger area was, from 1981 until 2010, a stadsdeel (borough) of Amsterdam and in 2010 was merged into the new borough of Amsterdam Nieuw-West.

Badhoevedorp is a town in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer in the province of North Holland, Netherlands. It lies next to the Ringvaart around Haarlemmermeer, the canal around the former Lake Haarlem, at the side of the polder bordering Amsterdam and Amstelveen. Badhoevedorp has a population of around 11,370.Notable residents include Björn Ottenheim of the band zZz, former Dutch national team footballer Marco van Basten, Jack van Gelder, Tonny Eyk and Toon van Driel. The Rijksweg 9 passes next to the town, from 8 August 1967 to 10 April 2017, the motorway passed through the town, however it was diverted, with the original section being closed and demolished to make place for new development in the area.
