Laurel Hill Farmhouse is a heritage-listed farm house at 105 Ruffles Road, Willow Vale, City of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It was built from 1883 to 1884 by Alexander Fortune for William Doherty. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 1 December 1997.

Gilmour Space Technologies is a venture-funded Australian space company headquartered in Queensland, Australia that is developing hybrid-engine rockets and associated technology to support the development of a low-cost space launch vehicle.Founded in 2012, Gilmour Space's function is to provide space launch services to the small satellite market – offering a range of Australian Made Eris orbital rockets, launched from Gilmour's private spaceport in north Queensland; and a modular G-Sat small satellite bus/platform.The maiden flight of its Eris rocket, which was unveiled by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese as Australia's first sovereign made orbital rocket, is planned for no earlier than 2024 from the Bowen Orbital Spaceport in Abbot Point, Bowen.Gilmour Space has near-term plans to develop a range of Eris launch vehicles capable of carrying larger satellites/payloads into Low Earth Orbits, and eventually provide space access for human spaceflight and exploration.

Pimpama & Ormeau War Memorial is a heritage-listed memorial at Pacific Highway, Pimpama, Queensland, Australia. It was built in 1919. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

Assisi Catholic College is a P-12 College and Senior Citizens home on the Gold Coast in Upper Coomera, Queensland. This college was established in 2005. In 2009, the college ran all year levels from Prep to Year 12 for the first time. The school operates under four distinct phases of learning - Early Years (Prep to Year 3), Junior Years (Years 4 - 6), Middle Years (Years 7 - 9) and Senior Years (Years 10 - 12). Most of the buildings in the college are named after places in Italy, which were also of importance to St Francis of Assisi - Greccio, Gubbio, Bonaventure, Perugia, San Damiano, Orvietto, Cortona, La Verna and Chiara. The exceptions are that of Bertoldi and the Pope Francis centre, the former of which is named after the architecture firm of the same name which is responsible for all the designs and construction work of the buildings, and the latter is in reference to Pope Francis, serving as the spiritual centre of the College. Patron saints are St Francis of Assisi and St Clare.

As of 2007, the school has grades Prep through 12. The college is divided into 3 sub schools: Chisholm Junior School, Jakaara Middle School and Fensham Senior School. The school is the temporary site of a Gold Coast City Council Library until one is built at the Coomera Town Centre. At construction stage 2 (of 3 or 4 stages) in 2007, this school was expanding with a projected 3,000 students by 2008. UCSC is built to blend into the developing surroundings that on average gains approximately one house every week. As of 2019, the school has 1993 students enrolled; with 969 girls, 1024 boys, 104 indigenous students, and a enrolment continuation of 90%. The school has many promising STEM students. Most notably, Jazz Jeavons won the stem award for the school in 2016, truly a hard-working student. The school offers various excellence programs. Creative Arts Academy, STEM Academy, and Sports Academy are all available at the college.
