Upper Coomera State College (UCSC), established in 2003, is a state school situated in the developing Coomera area in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is operated by Education Queensland. As of 2007, the school has grades Prep through 12. The college is divided into 3 sub schools: Chisholm Junior School, Jakaara Middle School and Fensham Senior School. The school is the temporary site of a Gold Coast City Council Library until one is built at the Coomera Town Centre. At construction stage 2 (of 3 or 4 stages) in 2007, this school was expanding with a projected 3,000 students by 2008. UCSC is built to blend into the developing surroundings that on average gains approximately one house every week. As of 2019, the school has 1993 students enrolled; with 969 girls, 1024 boys, 104 indigenous students, and a enrolment continuation of 90%. The school has many promising STEM students. Most notably, Jazz Jeavons won the stem award for the school in 2016, truly a hard-working student. The school offers various excellence programs. Creative Arts Academy, STEM Academy, and Sports Academy are all available at the college.

Assisi Catholic College is a P-12 College and Senior Citizens home on the Gold Coast in Upper Coomera, Queensland. This college was established in 2005. In 2009, the college ran all year levels from Prep to Year 12 for the first time. The school operates under four distinct phases of learning - Early Years (Prep to Year 3), Junior Years (Years 4 - 6), Middle Years (Years 7 - 9) and Senior Years (Years 10 - 12). Most of the buildings in the college are named after places in Italy, which were also of importance to St Francis of Assisi - Greccio, Gubbio, Bonaventure, Perugia, San Damiano, Orvietto, Cortona, La Verna and Chiara. The exceptions are that of Bertoldi and the Pope Francis centre, the former of which is named after the architecture firm of the same name which is responsible for all the designs and construction work of the buildings, and the latter is in reference to Pope Francis, serving as the spiritual centre of the College. Patron saints are St Francis of Assisi and St Clare.

WhiteWater World is a seasonal water park situated in the suburb of Coomera on the Gold Coast, Australia. It is owned and operated by Ardent Leisure and is the sister park to Dreamworld. After years of planning and a year of construction, WhiteWater World opened to the public on 8 December 2006. The ten Australian beach culture themed attractions cost approximately A$56 million. These included The Green Room, Super Tubes Hydrocoaster, The Rip, The BRO, Temple of Huey, Cave of Waves, Wiggle Bay, and Pipeline Plunge. Several more attractions have been added in the following years, including The Little Rippers, The Wedgie, Triple Vortex and Fully 6, with plans for a $7 million expansion commencing in 2019.

The Gold Coaster is a steel roller coaster operating at Dreamworld. The roller coaster is one of the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere, after originally being the tallest when it was first built. Designed by Arrow Dynamics, built in Melbourne by Able Leisure Pty. Ltd the ride was originally installed at Luna Park Sydney in 1995 as the Big Dipper before being sold and relocated to Dreamworld on the Gold Coast in 2001. When it was brought to Dreamworld, the ride was the first roller coaster to be opened on the Gold Coast since 1997. The roller coaster was named Cyclone from 2001 until 2015 when it was refurbished and named Hot Wheels SideWinder as part of the new Motorsport Experience themed land from 2015 to 2020.

V8 Supercars RedLine is a racing simulator based upon Australia's V8 Supercars series. It is an upcharge attraction which allows up to 4 guests to participate in a 24-car race around Bathurst. Located in the southern portion of Ocean Parade, V8 Supercars RedLine forms part of Dreamworld's marketing initiative, Adrenalin Alley which incorporates the FlowRider and AVPX.

The Wipeout was a Vekoma Waikiki Wave Super Flip at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The opening of this ride in 1993 caused part of Country Fair to be rethemed to Ocean Parade.
