Assembly House, Kentish Town

Kentish Town is a London Underground and National Rail station in Kentish Town in the London Borough of Camden. It is at the junction of Kentish Town Road (A400) and Leighton Road. It is in Travelcard Zone 2. The station is served by the High Barnet branch of the London Underground Northern line, and by Thameslink trains on the National Rail Midland Main Line. It is the only station on the High Barnet branch with a direct interchange with a National Rail line; furthermore an Out of Station Interchange (OSI) with Kentish Town West on the North London line is not charged as two separate journeys in electronic journey charging.

St John the Baptist, now the Christ Apostolic Church, is a grade II listed building at 23 Highgate Road, Kentish Town, London.The site was originally the location of an ancient chapel-of-ease which was replaced in 1783 with a church designed by the architect James Wyatt.That church was in turn substantially rebuilt in 1843-45 by James Hakewill although the nave walls and apse of the original church were reused in the new church. The church became redundant in 1993 and was used for all-night raves but more recently it has been taken over by the Christ Apostolic Church UK and is used as a place or worship once more. The church is on Historic England's Heritage at Risk register.

South Kentish Town is a disused London Underground station located in Kentish Town, north London, on the High Barnet branch of the Northern line. It was opened in 1907 by the Charing Cross, Euston & Hampstead Railway but closed in 1924 due to low passenger usage. Latterly, it was on the Northern line's High Barnet branch between Camden Town and Kentish Town stations. The surface building survives on Kentish Town Road and is currently a retail unit.

On 2 September 1861, near Kentish Town station in London, 16 people were killed and 317 were injured when an excursion train operated by the North London Railway collided with a freight train operated by the London and North Western Railway.The excursion train was running early and had been given permission to proceed, but met the freight train as it crossed the lines at a freight sidings unprotected by signals.
