Great Marlow

Bovingdon Green is a hamlet in the civil parish of Great Marlow, just to the west of the town of Marlow in Buckinghamshire, England.

Wycombe () is a constituency in Buckinghamshire represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2010 by Steve Baker, a Conservative.

Forty Green is a small, mainly undeveloped, agricultural area on the west side of Marlow in Buckinghamshire, England. It comprises field parcel numbers 883, 892, 895, 896 and 838 on the civil parish Ordnance Survey map. Its boundaries are not marked with signposts but parcel 892 has an entrance from a residential street carrying the name, Forty Green Drive. At the 2011 Census the population of the area was included in the civil parish of Great Marlow. As a result of efforts of residents living close to the fields, collaborating under the name Forty Green Preservation Society (formed in 1984 and still active) Forty Green, previously designated an Area of Attractive Landscape, has been reclassified as green belt with designated use as agricultural land. Some of the agricultural land has been bought with a view to selling it in small plots for residential development under the title King's Estate. In response to this Wycombe District Council has put up signs stating "WARNING - this land is not considered appropriate for residential development". Wycombe District Council has also made an Article Four Direction (which removes some permitted development rights) on the land North of Bovingdon Heights, Marlow. This means that fences, walls and other means of enclosures cannot be erected on the land nor can the land be used for any purpose other than agriculture.

Marlow Bottom is a linear village occupying a valley to the north of Marlow, Buckinghamshire. It is also a civil parish in the Buckinghamshire district having been created in November 2007. Formerly it was part of the parish of Great Marlow. Marlow Bottom is 25 to 30 minutes walk from the centre of Marlow town, and the river Thames. It has shops, including a newsagent, vet, chemist, dentist, music shop, dog grooming parlour, Italian restaurant and fish & chip shop, a large primary school, (Burford School), a private members club (The Barn Club, for valley residents), a village hall and two small churches (Anglican and Methodist) which form a Local Ecumenical Partnership "The Lantern", where the local Boy Scout and Girl Guide groups and similar voluntary groups meet. Marlow Bottom is also home to the Rebellion Beer Company, a local brewery producing regular and seasonal beers.

Wycombe Air Park, also known as Booker Airfield (IATA: HYC, ICAO: EGTB), is an operational general aviation aerodrome located in Booker, Buckinghamshire, 2.4 nautical miles (4.4 km; 2.8 mi) south-west of High Wycombe, England. The airfield celebrated its 50th year of opening on 25 April 2015. It originally opened in 1941 as RAF Booker and was primarily involved in training during World War II, remaining a military establishment until 1965. Wycombe Air Park (Booker Airport) has a CAA Ordinary Licence (Number P523) that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction as authorised by the licensee (Airways Aero Associations Limited).It has over 90,000 movements per annum, many of which are training circuits over the local area. The films Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines and Aces High were filmed here. British European Aviation (majority owned by the Brown family) renewed its lease with WDC for 50 years with its group company AAA in 2014. Since then over £500,000 has been invested in making the airfield a premier GA destination including hosting the Aero Expo and Elite London show.

Homefield Wood is a 6.1-hectare (15-acre) Site of Special Scientific Interest in Hambleden in Buckinghamshire. It is owned by the Forestry Commission, and managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust. It is part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.The site has young beech plantations, with some conifers and many native trees. There are rides and glades in some areas which have important and varied herb-rich chalk grassland, with plants such as Chiltern gentian and upright brome-grass and a variety of orchids. The rich invertebrate fauna includes thirty species of butterfly and over four hundred of moth.There is access from a road between Bockmer End and Lower Woodend.

The Hand & Flowers is a gastropub in Marlow, Buckinghamshire that opened in 2005. Owned and operated by Tom Kerridge and his wife Beth Cullen-Kerridge, it gained its first Michelin star within a year of opening and a second in the 2012 list, making it the first pub to hold two Michelin stars. It was named the AA Restaurant of the Year for 2011–12.

Sir William Borlase's Grammar School (commonly shortened to Borlase or SWBGS) is a selective state grammar school accepting pupils of all genders aged 11–18 located in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England. It is situated on West Street, close to the town centre and also accepts students from nearby towns. It has around 1000 pupils, including a sixth form of about 380.

Remnantz is a country house in Marlow in Buckinghamshire. It is listed Grade II* on the National Heritage List for England.

It is located on the River Thames, 4 miles (6 km) south-southwest of High Wycombe, 5 miles (8 km) west-northwest of Maidenhead and 33 miles (53 km) west of central London.

Pound Lane is a cricket ground in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1909, when Buckinghamshire played Dorset in the Minor Counties Championship. The county next used the ground for a Minor Counties match in 1913, when it played Berkshire. Buckinghamshire next used the ground in 1973, and from 1973 to 2004 the ground has hosted 29 Minor Counties Championship matches, the last of which saw Buckinghamshire play Suffolk. The ground has also held 5 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches.The ground has also held List-A matches. The first List-A match held on the ground was between a combined Minor Counties team played Sussex in the 1990 Benson and Hedges Cup. A combined Minor Counties team also used Pound Lane in the 1992 Benson and Hedges Cup when it played Sussex. Buckinghamshire first used the ground in the 1990 NatWest Trophy against Nottinghamshire. Buckinghamshire have played 2 further List-A matches at the ground, the last of which saw them play Warwickshire in the 1999 NatWest Trophy.Pound Lane has also been a venue for a Women's One Day International between Ireland women and Netherlands women in the 1993 Women's Cricket World Cup.In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home venue of Marlow Cricket Club.

Marlow Town Hall is a municipal building in the Market Square, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England. The structure, which was used as a public events venue, is a Grade II* listed building.
