The Aquarium of Boise is a 501 c(3) non-profit aquarium in Boise, Idaho, United States. It opened to the public in 2011.

Bishop Kelly High School is a private Roman Catholic secondary school in Boise, Idaho, operated by the Diocese of Boise. One of two Catholic high school in the state of Idaho, its school colors are black and gold and the mascot is a knight.

Cole School and Gymnasium in Boise, Idaho, was a 2-story, stucco over brick school building with stone trim. The year of construction was likely 1903, although in an annual report issued by the Boise School District 1972–73, the year was given as 1908. Above the main entry of a 1951 addition to the building was written, "Cole Elementary Est. 1888." The buildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1982.

The Boise Idaho Temple is the 29th constructed and 27th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The temple is located in the city of Boise, Idaho.

Borah High School is a three-year public secondary school in Boise, Idaho, one of four traditional high schools in the Boise School District. It serves students in grades 10–12 in the southwest portion of the district. It is named after William Borah (1865–1940), a prominent U.S. Senator and a presidential candidate in 1936.

The Idaho High School Activities Association (IHSAA) oversees high school athletics and activities in the state of Idaho. Idaho high schools are classified in five categories, based on enrollment, for league competition and state playoffs and championships. The IHSAA recognizes 18 specific sports.Schools primarily compete within their own classification for regular season play, but are allowed to play other schools one classification above or below them in most sports.

The Boise City Police Department (BPD) is located in Boise, Idaho's capital. BPD employs just over 400 people, with 325 allocated positions for sworn officers and 82 civilians.

KGEM (1140 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a religious talk format. Licensed to Boise, Idaho, United States, the station serves the Boise area. The station is currently owned by SNL Radio, LLC. Former owners Journal Broadcast Group announced July 22, 2009 that KGEM, along with sister station KCID, were to be sold to Salt & Light Radio for $950,000. The sale closed on September 25, 2009, and as a result the stations were converted to Salt & Light's local Catholic radio format (see Salt + Light Television).

The Boise School District #1, is a comprehensive public school district in Boise, Idaho. The district was founded in 1865 under the auspices of Idaho Territory. Formerly the largest school district in the state, it now ranks second to the adjacent West Ada School District #2, which administers several schools in western Boise. Peak enrollment in the Boise School District was reached in 1997 at 27,070.The Boise School District #1 is the second-oldest school system in Idaho. The oldest is in Lewiston, founded three years earlier by the Washington Territory government. Franklin School in Boise, Idaho, was a 2-story, brick and stucco building designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and constructed in 1926. The school featured a flat roof with a decorated concrete parapet. The school was added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1982. In 2009 the building was demolished.

Capital High School is a three-year public secondary school in Boise, Idaho, United States. Opened in the fall of 1965, it was the third of four public high schools constructed in the Boise School District, and serves its northern portion. The other high schools are Boise (1902) in the east, Borah (1958) in the southwest, and Timberline (1998) in the southeast.
