Bishop Kelly High School

The Aquarium of Boise is a 501 c(3) non-profit aquarium in Boise, Idaho, United States. It opened to the public in 2011.

The Boise Idaho Temple is the 29th constructed and 27th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The temple is located in the city of Boise, Idaho.

Boise Towne Square is a mall in the western United States, located in Boise, Idaho. The largest retail complex in the state, it opened in 1988 after more than 20 years of planning, and features 150 stores, with Macy's (formerly The Bon Marché), JCPenney, Kohl's and Dillard's (added in 1998) as anchor stores. The mall also includes the first Apple Store in Idaho. Boise Towne Square is owned by the Chicago-based Brookfield Properties Retail Group and is located near the junction of Interstate 84 and Interstate 184. Brookfield Properties Retail Group also operates an adjacent strip mall, Boise Towne Plaza, which is anchored by Nordstrom Rack and Old Navy. In addition, the mall comprises nine freestanding businesses on its property, including major retailers PetSmart and Pier 1 Imports.

Borah High School is a three-year public secondary school in Boise, Idaho, one of four traditional high schools in the Boise School District. It serves students in grades 10–12 in the southwest portion of the district. It is named after William Borah (1865–1940), a prominent U.S. Senator and a presidential candidate in 1936.

Cole School and Gymnasium in Boise, Idaho, was a 2-story, stucco over brick school building with stone trim. The year of construction was likely 1903, although in an annual report issued by the Boise School District 1972–73, the year was given as 1908. Above the main entry of a 1951 addition to the building was written, "Cole Elementary Est. 1888." The buildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1982.

KGEM (1140 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a religious talk format. Licensed to Boise, Idaho, United States, the station serves the Boise area. The station is currently owned by SNL Radio, LLC. Former owners Journal Broadcast Group announced July 22, 2009 that KGEM, along with sister station KCID, were to be sold to Salt & Light Radio for $950,000. The sale closed on September 25, 2009, and as a result the stations were converted to Salt & Light's local Catholic radio format (see Salt + Light Television).

The Idaho Statesman is the daily newspaper of Boise, Idaho, in the western United States. It is owned by The McClatchy Company.

Franklin School in Boise, Idaho, was a 2-story, brick and stucco building designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and constructed in 1926. The school featured a flat roof with a decorated concrete parapet. The school was added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1982. In 2009 the building was demolished.

The Boise School District #1, is a comprehensive public school district in Boise, Idaho. The district was founded in 1865 under the auspices of Idaho Territory. Formerly the largest school district in the state, it now ranks second to the adjacent West Ada School District #2, which administers several schools in western Boise. Peak enrollment in the Boise School District was reached in 1997 at 27,070.The Boise School District #1 is the second-oldest school system in Idaho. The oldest is in Lewiston, founded three years earlier by the Washington Territory government. Frank Church High School is an alternative public secondary school in Boise, Idaho, operated by the Boise School District. Opened in 2008, it was formed from the merger of Mountain Cove High School and Fort Boise Mid High School. It serves grades 9–12, with the majority of the enrollment in the upper grades.FCHS is named after Frank Church, a prominent U.S. Senator from 1957 to 1981, and an alumnus of Boise High School, class of 1942. The school is located in southwest Boise, immediately east of the new West Junior High School, also opened in 2008. FCHS also hosts the Boise Evening School program and B.A.S.E (Boise Alternative to Suspension and Expulsion) formerly known as the Victory Academy.

The Idaho High School Activities Association (IHSAA) oversees high school athletics and activities in the state of Idaho. Idaho high schools are classified in five categories, based on enrollment, for league competition and state playoffs and championships. The IHSAA recognizes 18 specific sports.Schools primarily compete within their own classification for regular season play, but are allowed to play other schools one classification above or below them in most sports.

The Boise City Police Department (BPD) is located in Boise, Idaho's capital. BPD employs just over 400 people, with 325 allocated positions for sworn officers and 82 civilians.
